Introduction of colored lead tools

I believe that friends who come to see this article either like painting or are interested in colored lead painting, so this article is relatively long, so be prepared. If you don't have the patience to finish reading it, just look at the title and focus on it. Ha ha.

The basic tools for drawing colored lead are colored lead and drawing paper. According to the recommendation of online teachers and my own experience, specifically, the choice of colored lead and drawing paper.

First of all, let me talk about colored lead. There are many brands of colored lead on the market, not to mention the stationery brands such as Chen Guang and Deli. This can only be said to be stationery If you want to really paint colored lead, you have to use professional colored lead.

Because colored lead painting is different from oil painting, watercolor painting and traditional Chinese painting, the particularity of colored lead determines the choice of color. Colored lead with different colors is not easy to penetrate and blend with each other, so more colors are needed. If we paint ultra-realistic works, the more colors we need, the better. If you are a beginner, it is recommended that 48 colors of lead be enough.

1.

At present, there are three kinds of Hui Baijia Honghui, one is made in China, and the color number begins with 8. The color brightness of domestic colored lead is ok, but the color stacking is not good, generally only three layers can be stacked. If you continue to stack colors, it is easy to slide, but the advantage is that the price is cheap. The domestic Honghui has produced 100 color.

The other two are water-soluble colored lead and oily colored lead produced in Indonesia. The color number of water-soluble colored lead begins with 4, and the color number of oily colored lead begins with 3. There is basically no difference between these two kinds of colored lead without water-soluble coating technology. Many friends don't know what is water-soluble. In fact, water-soluble colored lead is actually colored on the drawing paper normally with colored lead, and then fainted with a brush dipped in water, which will have the effect of watercolor. However, oily colored lead does not have this water-soluble effect.

Just one thing to note, if it is humid weather in the south, water-soluble colored lead is easy to get wet if it is not properly preserved. There will be a lot of slag when painting, and I have encountered it several times. It is suggested that you usually keep the water-soluble colored lead in an iron box, or you can put several packages of desiccant in it. If you accidentally wet the colored lead, don't worry, don't bask in the sun, it will recover in a ventilated and dry place, or you can sell some wet nib with a pencil sharpener and apply it again.

Honghui produced in Indonesia is brighter than domestic ones, and the color overlapping effect is better, but the price will be more expensive. However, compared with other brands of colored lead, Honghui can be said to be a color lead with higher cost performance.

Huibaijia red box has 48 colors of water-soluble colored lead, which is very cost-effective, and can be said to be the first choice for beginners.

2. Mitsubishi 880 oily colored lead

Japanese colored lead, which can supplement a single piece, is fine and smooth, with high cost performance, bright colors and good color superposition. The comprehensive cost performance ratio is higher than that of Honghui, but the price will be more expensive than Honghui, and the 36 colors are about 100.

3. Domestic glory

You may not know much about this, but the popularity is not high and the price is very cheap. 160 color is only 100 yuan, and the overlapping color is close to Mitsubishi. The disadvantage is that it is easy to drop slag.

4. Van Gogh colored lead in the Netherlands

Bright color, but softer than Mitsubishi, easy to break lead, not easy to make up a single branch, niche brand, not recommended.

5. Three thunderbolt horses

Everyone should have heard of this. This kind of colored lead is often used in European and American styles to draw realistic figures. It is characterized by softness, color and richness. At present, there are at most 150 colors, which are relatively thick and can be superimposed continuously, which is a bit like the feeling of oil painting. It's not slippery or delicate, but mending sheets is expensive. The whole box is relatively cheap and consumes quickly. It is suitable for painting surreal figures, animals and plants, but it cannot be wiped with paper, which has limitations on some painting styles.

6. Rhyme natural color?

England? Used for environmental color and auxiliary color, whiter than thunderbolt, durable, full, thick and not bright.

7. Narrow Strait

Attracted by Kyle's face value, I couldn't help but buy a set of 48 colors of Kyle Renoir colored lead 3 100, which is easy to break lead. Novices are not recommended. When I first started painting, I always broke the lead because I used my pen too hard. Later, after I became familiar with the characteristics of colored lead, I wrote much lighter. Actually, I can't use it, but after comprehensive comparison, novices still recommend Huibaijia Red Box.

8. Germany Yiya oily colored lead 72 colors

The cost performance is good, the price of 72 colors is about 200, the coloring effect is good, and the wax texture is stronger than Mitsubishi 880. The disadvantage is that the quality of individual branches is different, and it is still worth entering in general.

9. Green glow

Finally, Lu Hui, although I have never used it, has received too much praise on the Internet and has the best comprehensive quality. Apart from being expensive, there are no other shortcomings. If conditions permit, I recommend Lu Hui.

The final conclusion: The more expensive the colored lead, the better. We should choose our own colored lead according to our own preferences and habits.

Next, draw paper.

It is especially important to draw colored lead and paper. It is as important as colored lead, even more important than colored lead.

1. Kent Paper,

Yellow may be the biggest drawback, but it is thick enough not to be fuzz, and overlapping colors are ok. This is the first newspaper I bought.

2. Domestic birds

Delicate, you can stack three layers, but I feel too smooth, it is difficult to wipe the pen with paper, and the transition is not good. But some great gods can still draw great works, so it is also related to techniques and personal habits.

3. steamer sketch paper

Paper is colored, can be stacked five times, not so smooth, paper can be wiped naturally, and it is expensive and cost-effective.

Domestic Daqian sketch paper is very cheap

Smooth, not delicate, not smooth, easy to fluff, too many overlapping colors are easy to damage. Not recommended.

5. Homemade sketch paper of old people's heads,

Easily fuzz, better than Daqian sketch paper.

6. Kangsong Sketch Paper 1557

Very resistant to painting. Smooth, rough and not delicate. It is recommended to apply one layer, rub it evenly with a paper brush, then apply another layer, rub it evenly and then color it, which will be more delicate. But the texture can still be seen in the final manuscript.

7. Fengli sketch paper

It is more exquisite than other sketch papers, easier to use than Kangsong, cheaper than Kangsong and more cost-effective.

8. Humboldt cotton colored paper

Cost-effective, granular, but uniform, without color blocks. For rough paper, just apply one layer, knead one layer, and then fold the colors before kneading.

9. Duofu watercolor paper

Big coffee always comes last. The best paper for drawing colored lead is Duofu colored paper. I don't want to use other paper since I used Dofu, because it's really easy to use. The disadvantage is that it is expensive.

There are thick lines and thin lines to win many blessings. Of course, when we draw colored lead, we choose thin lines, and then there are 190g and 300g. The difference is the price. Usually 190 grams is enough to draw by yourself. Delicate, multicolored and blessed, you can draw on both sides, with small lines on one side and no lines on the other. If you want to draw a super realistic and delicate style, then choose the side without lines.

This is the first time to send this tool post, hoping to help beginners of colored lead. You are also welcome to add.
