What does Schumacher Formula Racing mean?
F 1 Racing is the most expensive, fastest and high-tech sport in the world. It is also a sports event with the highest commercial value, the greatest charm and the most attractive to watch. Including aerodynamics, plus the most advanced technologies in the world such as radio communication and electrical engineering. Many new technologies were put into practice for the first time in F 1. F is the abbreviation of FORMULA, namely equation; 1 There are many explanations, which can be understood as top drivers, top events, bonuses and so on. In fact, this is a translation error in history, and later it was agreed that it was not as accurate as the mathematical equation at all! In fact, mathematical equations do not mean "accuracy". Positive solution: Formula means equation in the field of mathematics, which is also the cause of translation errors. In F 1, the original meaning is "specification", that is, a racing car with uniform specifications, which is called F 1 because of its highest level.
F 1, called Formula One Championship in Chinese, is the abbreviation of English Formula Grand Prix. At present, the official full name of this competition is the FIA Formula One World Championship.
World Formula One Championship-spelled Formula One in English, abbreviated as F 1. This is the highest level racing competition in the world today. It is called "the three major sports in the world" together with the Olympic Games and the World Cup. The annual ratings are as high as 60 billion. The F 1 race we enjoyed today can be said to be a collection of drivers' high technology, team spirit, wisdom and courage. At present, F 1 is the top race in racing. The overall arrangement of the whole year, the organization, team work, TV broadcast and other aspects of various events are orderly. It can be said that the world of F 1 is sound now. But F 1, like anything, has its origin and development process, and there are many twists and turns on the road ahead. 1950, the FIA held the first FIA drivers' world championship for the first time, which has been held until today. This period is the stage of steady development of F 1. F1* * * At present, there are 1 1 racing teams, and only 22 drivers participate in each race. There are 16 to 17 games planned every year, usually starting in mid-March and ending at the end of 10. In addition to a large number of regulations, especially those related to safety and aerodynamics, the current "Equation" stipulates that the total volume of the engine cylinder is 2.4 liters, the supercharger is prohibited, and the minimum vehicle weight is 600 kilograms (including drivers and competition equipment). From 1894 (Paris to Lyon) to 1900, the word "equation" did not appear in the first automobile race in history. At that time, the car race was very simple, just grouped according to the combustion mode (gasoline engine and steam engine) and the number of seats. At that time, cars had at least two seats, and it was not until1the late 1920s that single-seat racing cars appeared.
Competition system
[Edit this paragraph]
Because the competition time of F 1 is not inter-annual, F 1 adopts a single-year league system, which determines the results of drivers and teams by accumulating annual points in order to win the championship.
Of all the competitions held in F 1 Tournament (1950-2008), most were held in Europe, mostly in Monza, followed by Monaco, Zandehydrator, Spa, Silverstone and Nuremberg, and the least was Oceania, with only 1 1 time.
In the past, the streets and highways of the city were often used as the track, and the rules of the competition were not perfect, which greatly restricted the players. With the appearance of professional track, the rules of the game are constantly improving, which makes drivers play better.
F 1 super driver's license
[Edit this paragraph]
Just like ordinary road driving, F 1 also needs a driver's license. That's a "super driver's license" issued by FIA-FIA Super License. This driver's license is only issued to drivers who have performed well in F3000, F3 or CART series. It usually takes eight years for a driver to progress from karting to F 1, but in fact only a few people have the ability and opportunity to climb to the top of the racing pyramid.
The threshold for super driver's license in 2008 is 10000 euros, and the threshold for getting points is 2000 euros per minute. Last year, these two figures were 1.725 euros and 456 euros respectively.

Every year, F 1 competition should choose different venues with different geographical conditions. Some of them are now on the plateau, and the thin air tests the physical quality of drivers; Some are racetracks composed of streets, with narrow and tortuous roads, and drivers will crash if they operate improperly; Some tracks seem to have wide roads, but they also have the skills to test drivers' uphill and downhill; Other tracks are built in dense forests, and the runway fluctuates greatly, making it difficult for drivers to control the car. Due to frequent racing accidents, the FIA requires that all tracks in the host country must have enough grass buffer zones. The ambulance personnel of each stadium must also be distributed in every corner of the stadium, and strive to run into the scene for rescue at the moment of the accident.

F 1 tournament
[Edit this paragraph]
F 1 year championship is divided into two categories, driver championship and team championship. In the eyes of many F 1 experts, the value of the team championship is greater than the driver championship. The scoring method is the integral system, and the points of drivers and teams are cumulative. Team points are accumulated by the points of two drivers. If the race is forced to stop before 75% of the race, the points must be multiplied by 1/2, and the world champion of the driver and the team can be determined by accumulating points at each sub-station. If the final score is the same, compare the number of champions, runners-up and runners-up in each substation ... until one side is more than the other. If it is still the same, it is necessary to compare the fastest lap time and pole position in the race, and the final way will be decided by drawing lots.
2008 F 1 integral system

Physical characteristics of F 1 driver
[Edit this paragraph]
The driver of F 1 is one of the strongest athletes, because the driving style of F 1 racing car and the strong centrifugal force that drivers have to bear are very different from driving ordinary vehicles. Not only the physical condition is better than ordinary people, but also a calm and analytical mind!
Observing the drivers of F 1, we can find that their necks are thick and look almost as wide as their heads, because when driving F 1 racing cars, their helmets are exposed outside the cockpit. Besides bearing 4 g of lateral centrifugal force when cornering, the forward deceleration force is greater than 5 g when braking. Under such a high centrifugal force, the weight of the head and helmet will be five times that of the original, about 25 kilograms.
Secondly, their arms and wrists are extremely muscular. It used to take about 30 kilograms to operate the steering wheel of F 1. Even if today's F 1 can use the power steering wheel to reduce the driver's burden, it is quite laborious to turn the steering wheel under the action of air pressure when driving at high speed. When turning, strong arms are needed to keep the car on the driver's desired route. Strong arms and wrists are necessary in the 300-kilometer race.
In addition, when cornering, the strong lateral centrifugal force will make the blood in the body flow to one side, but at this time, the driver still needs to think calmly when facing the next corner. The heartbeat is as high as 190 beats per minute at the start and 160 beats during the race. Therefore, the cardiopulmonary function of racing drivers is definitely different from that of ordinary people.
The heat resistance of the car body is also very important for F 1 drivers. During the cool European competition, the temperature in the cockpit can be as high as 50~60 degrees Celsius. Although water is constantly replenished, after nearly two hours of competition, the total amount of body fat and dehydration consumed will exceed 4 kg. If the average person is dehydrated like that, it will cause shock, but the driver of F 1 can still talk and laugh after getting off the bus.
Introduction of F 1 semaphore
Yellow Flag Yellow Flag means that there are obstacles in the lane ahead, such as a crashed car. Remind drivers to drive carefully. If the obstacle car is parked on one side of the track, or the obstacle is not on the track, the yellow flag will remain motionless. If obstacles are on the track, the yellow flag will swing back and forth to remind drivers to be ready to change direction. If the track is completely blocked, two yellow flags will be waved. Overtaking is not allowed when the yellow flag appears. If a driver does not read the information of the yellow flag carefully and still drives to the accident area of the track at the speed of the race, then the driver will be severely punished or even disqualified.
Red and yellow vertical striped flag The red and yellow vertical striped flag indicates that there is oil on the road in front of the track, or the road is slippery. Drivers should drive carefully until the signal flag is retracted. If the competition officials wave the flag, it means that there is a so-called wet area not far ahead.
White Flag When a white flag appears, it means that there are slow-moving vehicles ahead. This may be an ambulance, a trailer, or a safety vehicle for the Olympic Games. When seeing the white flag, the driver should drive carefully and even slow down appropriately.
The red flag means that the game or test run is terminated or suspended in advance for some reason. The red flag will appear in all positions of the whole track at the same time. At this point, the driver should go back to the pit and wait there to know if and when to resume the race. In the official competition, if the red flag is displayed after the competition exceeds 75%, the competition is over, and the final result of the competition is based on the results of the first two laps of waving the red flag.
Blue Flag A blue flag means that a vehicle with a preparation ring behind it is approaching and ready to overtake. Drivers who are shown the blue flag should slow down and give way to the race line if necessary. If a driver is shown waving the blue flag three times in a row and fails to give way to the express train in time, the driver may be punished.
The green flag means that the obstacles in the race, qualifying or track have been cleared and the race has returned to normal.
Black Flag If the driver's number is displayed on the starting line, a black flag appears next to it, indicating that the driver needs to report to the pit after running this lap. When a driver needs to be investigated for misconduct in the competition, or when the driver fouls in the competition, it is necessary to show the black flag to the driver. The driver was disqualified when the flag appeared.
Red flag with black background If the driver's number is displayed on the starting line, a red flag with black background appears next to it, indicating that the driver needs to get in touch with the maintenance station immediately. When competition officials suspect that drivers' cars need to be overhauled, they will display a flag with a black background and a red circle.
Black-and-white checkmark When the black-and-white checkmark flag appears, it means that the game or practice match is over. At this time, all drivers should return to the maintenance lane or concentrate in the departure area. From here on, drivers need to drive their cars to the pre-race check-in place, where they need to be tested to ensure that they meet the rules and regulations of the competition. For the champion of each competition, a black and white checkered flag will be waved for him; For drivers after the champion, the black and white check flag will remain unchanged.
A driver who died in an accident
[Edit this paragraph]
On July 3rd1954, 3rd1,Argentine driver Onofre Marimon rushed out of the track during a practice race at the German newberg Forest Circuit and died unfortunately. I have participated in three seasons (195 1, 1953, 1954) of F 1 in my career, and accumulated the number of grand prix 12, but I have never won a championship. Alberto ascari, an Italian driver, participated in six seasons (1950 ~ 1955) in his career, totaling 37 times. He has successively won the 13 Grand Prix,1952,65438. Unfortunately, in 1955, he took part in the test run of Monza circuit in Italy on behalf of Lancia, and died in a car crash because the car was out of control.

He has only participated in the F 1 competition in eight seasons of his career (1957 ~ 1964), and the cumulative number of grand prix entries is 3 1, but he has never won a championship.
Jim clark is an undisputed genius. His unique driving style and bohemian personality became the symbol of that era and made a wonderful annotation for the turbulent 1960s. But history doomed him to stay at 1967 Hockenheim circuit in Germany forever. The funeral of the two-time world champion was a great success. Numerous young female car fans flooded Jim's hearse with white roses, and John Lennon of The Beatles sang the famous "Yesterday" at the funeral.
1968, French driver Jo Scheller ran off the track in Rouen, France, causing the car to catch fire. Unfortunately, he was killed by fire.
On July 29th, 1973, British driver roger williamson ran off the track in a race in Zaphod, the Netherlands. High-speed racing cars collided and caught fire, and Williamson was buried in the fire. In one season of my career, 1973 participated in the F 1 competition, and the cumulative number of grand prix competitions was only two, and I never finished a competition.
Canadian driver Grether Villeneuve is jacques villeneuv's father. He hit the guardrail at the entrance of the Belgian station in the practice match of 1982, and died several hours later due to ineffective rescue. At the European Grand Prix after 15, his son won the only world championship of F 1 for his father, and the Canadian government named the Montreal circuit in Canada after Grether Villeneuve.
1986, the Italian driver Elliot De Angelis lost control and died in qualifying at the French Paul Richard circuit because his nose was broken. In his career, he participated in eight races (1980 ~ 1986), totaling 109, and won two grand prix titles, namely, San Marino Station 1982 on May 5 and 1982 on June. 1985, once played for Lotus Team with Senna.
Austrian driver Roland Ratzenberger has only participated in 1994 for one season in his career, and the cumulative number of grand prix events is three. Unexpectedly, however, his racing career ended in1April 30th, 994 at imola circuit in San Marino.
1 994 may1day, Brazilian driver ayrton senna rushed out of the track in the leading position and crashed into the fence during the race at imola circuit in San Marino, and died unfortunately. Senna participated in eleven seasons of competitions in his career and won three world championships (1988, 1990, 199 1). His death is the biggest loss for F 1 the world.
F 1 setting
In order to have 100% competitive ability, f 1 racing car must be carefully adjusted or "debugged" to adapt to the characteristics of the stadium.
Re-debug the car every time you change tracks or every time the weather changes. According to the past experience of the venue, the data recorded last season and the results of computer simulation, some preparations can be made at the base in advance, but it must always be carefully debugged on the runway. Debugging racing cars is a technical job, and the parts that need to be adjusted, sometimes these and sometimes those, change almost endlessly. Almost all engine and frame parts can be adjusted to meet the specific requirements of each runway.
Everything in the F 1 racing car can be adjusted: from the steering wheel to the engine, from the pedal to the wheel angle, from the ground clearance to the air drag coefficient, most parts of the F 1 racing car are adjustable. Those irreconcilable parts can be replaced! Generally speaking, during the test run, the driver goes out for three turns at a time and stops at the maintenance station to talk to his engineer after each turn. All adjustments should be carefully observed, and after the probation period, the problems found will be compared with the data printed by telemetry technology.
Ground clearance: The ground clearance of the car will affect the coordination of the front and rear wheels (understeer or oversteer), which can be adjusted by changing the length of the tie rod.
Training in rainy days is not the same as training in sunny days: rainy days have the most stringent requirements for braking and traction, so we should fully exert our strength on the road. Racing cars usually run very fast, but the brakes and the cold air passages of the engine should be completely or partially covered, so that these devices can reach the ideal working temperature more quickly.
In dry weather: the ground clearance is about 10 mm, so the small wing plate is used to reduce the resistance, the hard spring is used to reduce the tire pressure, the engine cold air channel is fully opened to keep the engine at the ideal working temperature, and the brake cold air channel is fully opened to cool the brake disc.
In wet weather: the ground clearance is higher than that in dry weather to adapt to the increased distance of the tire itself in rainy season, the wing plate is enlarged to increase the downward pressure, the soft spring is used, the tire pressure is higher, the cold air channel of the engine is partially blocked to help the engine reach the ideal working temperature, and the brake pipe is covered to weaken the cooling effect on the brake disc.
Cold air passage of brakes: the amount of cooling air reaching the brakes will affect their temperature, thus affecting their efficiency. Today's inkless brakes have the highest efficiency at the temperature of 350 ~ 500 degrees Celsius.
F 1 performance parameters:
A racing car needs 250,000 hours of work from concept design to production completion;
Top F 1 teams need to produce an amazing number of parts in the process of manufacturing racing cars, such as BMW-Williams.
/kloc-produced about 200,000 parts in 0/2 months;
F 1 racing car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 5 seconds.
F 1 car can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in 7 seconds, and then decelerate to 0;
F 1 racing car has strong braking characteristics, and can decelerate from 200 km/h to 0 in 1.9 seconds, with a braking distance of 55 meters;
The energy required to reduce a racing car from 3 15 km/h to 185 km/h is equivalent to the energy required to make an elephant jump 10 m;
Drivers of F 1 have to change gears about 2600 times in the race. According to BMW's statistics, an engine will ignite about 8 million times in the grand prix.
During the competition, the temperature at the exhaust pipe of F 1 can reach 800 degrees Celsius;
After each race, the chassis of F 1 racing car needs to be disassembled, and more than 200 items need to be checked.
10 cylinder 3-liter engine, weighing less than100 kg;
In the F 1 race, a driver lost about 600 calories.
In 2004, the horsepower of Williams car with V 10 engine reached nearly 1000, setting a track speed record of 369.7km/h at Monza circuit in Italy. In 2005, Honda first ran 4 15KM/h at Mojave desert airport, and then ran more than 400km/h at Barnavia Salt Flat in the United States, and was officially awarded. In 2006, the engine speed of McLaren-Benz racing car exceeded 20,000 rpm ... Later, due to the FIA's reform of racing rules, the current speed of F 1 racing car was limited.
