Regional profile
Chengguan District is the only municipal district in Lhasa, located in the middle reaches of Lhasa River, a tributary of Yarlung Zangbo River, with an altitude of 3,650 meters and an area of 554 square kilometers. The urban built-up area covers an area of 5 1.4 square kilometers, and there are 3 1 ethnic groups such as Tibetan, Han and Hui. The climate is pleasant, with an average annual temperature of 8℃ and an annual rainfall of about 500 mm, concentrated in July, August and September. More than 3000 hours a year. Chengguan District is not only the center of politics, economy, culture, transportation, communication and education in Tibet, but also the most developed religious culture in Tibet. Chengguan District of Lhasa City is located in the valley plain in the middle reaches of Lhasa River, a tributary of Yarlung Zangbo River. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The east-west span of the region is 28km, and the north-south span is 3 1 km, with an area of 554km2 and an average elevation of 3,658m. The jurisdiction is adjacent to Dazi County in the east, Duilong Deqing County in the west, Gongga County and Zhanang County in Shannan region in the south and Linzhou County in the north. It is the only county-level administrative region in Lhasa, Tibet. It is the political, economic and cultural center and transportation hub of Tibet, and also the center of people flow, logistics and information flow in Tibet. Sunny all year round, with little rainfall. It belongs to the temperate semi-arid climate of the plateau, with an annual maximum temperature of 29.6℃ and a minimum temperature of-16.5℃ ... Chengguan District is also rich in water resources, mineral resources and agricultural resources. Due to the Lhasa River and the surrounding mountains and glaciers, hundreds of square kilometers of underground reservoirs have been formed in the territory. Mineral resources are very rich, mainly iron, limestone, granite and porcelain clay.

The Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau is a team with two brands. 1999 was designated as the comprehensive demonstration zone of science and technology in Xizang Autonomous Region, and various comprehensive science and technology projects were implemented in 2000.
There are 3 film projection teams in the whole region, with 900 annual projection tasks, 7 FM radio and television receiving and relaying stations, 2 TV receiving stations, 3 small cable closed-circuit stations, and 1 1 urban and rural broadcasting points. The coverage of radio, film and television in the whole region has basically reached 100% (including cable TV coverage of 86%). Radio and movies can be heard in 12 administrative villages and 42 villagers' groups in the whole region, and radio, film and television coverage has basically been realized.
