Regulations of Xunhua Salar Autonomous County on Autonomy
Autonomous County governs four Tibetan townships: Jishi Town, Qingshui Township, Mengda Township, Baizhuang Township, Jiezi Township, Chahandusi Township and Du Wen, Boleng, Gangcha and Daowei. Article 9 The organs of self-government of autonomous counties guarantee citizens of all ethnic groups the freedom of religious belief.
No state organ, social organization or individual may compel citizens to believe in or not believe in religion, and may not discriminate against citizens who believe in or not believe in religion.
Organs of self-government protect normal religious activities and strengthen the management of religious affairs. No group or individual may use religion to engage in activities that disrupt social order, damage citizens' physical and mental health, or interfere with state administration, education and justice.
