Xiaoyudong Town is located on the northwest edge of the Sichuan Basin, in the heart of the upper reaches of the Jianjiang River, 32 kilometers northwest of Pengzhou City and 72 kilometers away from Chengdu. It borders Tongji Town to the east, Cifeng Town to the south, Dujiangyan to the west, Dabao Town to the north, and Xinxing to the southeast.
