How to get from Chengdu to Changdu?

There are only long-distance through trains on the land from Chengdu to Changdu, and there are no stops on the way. Only when you eat and sleep will you stop somewhere, usually at a transport station. If the road conditions are good, it is unlucky to walk for three days and stay for two nights (rare in recent years), and it may take a week or even longer. It is recommended to enter Tibet in July, August and September. At other times, natural disasters such as snow-capped mountains or mudslides are prone to occur.

Chengdu-Changdu passes through several passes and several areas, which are divided into the southern line and the northern line. The dividing line between north and south is in xinduqiao, and Chengdu-Ya 'an-Tianquan-Erlang Mountain-Kangding-xinduqiao branches. On the northern line, there are pine forests of all sizes in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province-Mud Mountain (where the smallest is the largest)-Queer Mountain (with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, all with gravel roads)-on the southern line, starting from xinduqiao, Manager Pond-Batang enters Mangkang County-Zuogong County-Bangda Grassland (airport) in Tibet, and then passes over two small hills-the location of Qamdo area. Walk more than 200 kilometers than the northern line.

Speaking of flying, if you are unlucky, you may waste more time than taking a bus. In nine years (I can't remember), I flew from Changdu to Chengdu once (only once a week), but because of the weather at the airport, I stayed in the airport guest house at an altitude of more than 4000 meters for a week. Very depressing. Now there are many opportunities to work in two or three classes, which means it will take two or three days or more to complete the journey. It is suggested that in the changeable season, don't fly, just pay attention to the weather forecast in eastern Tibet. (There are four classes a week now)

Another way to take a bus (suitable for traveling): Chengdu-Kangding, Kangding-Dege, Dege-Tibet Jiangda, Jiangda-Changdu area, disadvantages: long time and high cost.
