What is the "cloudy" weather?

"Cloudy" refers to the weather in which the cloud area occupies 30% to 70% of the sky.

In our weather forecast, the definition criteria of "partly cloudy", "cloudy", "cloudy" and "sunny" are based on the percentage of cloud area in the sky:

1, sunny day: cloud cover is 0% to 10%.

2. Partly cloudy: cloud amount 10% to 30%.

3. Cloudy: Cloudiness is 30% to 70%

4. cloudy day: the cloud cover is greater than 70%.

Note: Partial cloudy weather is a necessary item in observation, but it is not commonly used in forecast because it is close to sunny day.

Visually distinguish cloudy days, partial cloudy days, sunny days and cloudy days;

1, sunny or partly cloudy time: blue sky in Wan Li with no clouds or only a few cumulus clouds.

2. On cloudy days, clouds cover most of the sky, mostly cumulus clouds or layered clouds, with a small range, and sunlight can shine through the clouds to the ground. Usually there are white clouds floating in the blue sky.

3. Cloudy day: the sky is covered with a large range of layered clouds, which has a great influence on the light transmittance, and the sun is generally invisible. Sometimes there is a sense of oppression that "dark clouds overwhelm the city".

If you pay close attention to the language of weather forecast, you will find that there are "turn, arrival and interval" in addition to several common weather words such as sunny and cloudy.
