Take pictures on rainy days, the rain will not be imaged on the picture! How to shoot Swift?
1. Rainy weather characteristics
Rainy days are characterized by cloudy days. Its light is completely scattered from the sky, with uniform light and high color temperature. The subject has no projection or obvious shadow, and the tone is blue. Rain itself has a high reflectivity, so it is easy to have bright objects and high spots when shooting in rainy days. When shooting a rain scene, in order to show the rain stripes in the rain scene, in addition to the heavy rain, we must also choose gray walls, green trees, mountains, dark buildings, caves and other objects as the background, and shoot with backlight or side light.
If the background of the rainy scene is the sky, then the rainy sky is generally white and dense clouds. Even if it rains heavily, it can't appear because the background and rain bars are white. In addition, the closer the background is, the easier it is for rain bars to appear, and the farther the background is, the bigger the scene is, and the rain bars are not easy to appear clearly. Therefore, the shooting range of the rain scene should not be too large, and it is necessary to avoid the white sky occupying most of the pictures and affecting the performance of the rain belt in the scene.
When shooting a rain scene, it is generally necessary to use a larger aperture and a slower shutter speed to make the rain scene sensitive enough. Generally, when shooting a rain scene with the shutter speed of 1/60s, it can show the rainstripes that have not landed in the space. If you shoot at a faster shutter speed, the rain stripes in the rain scene space will be shorter, while using a slower shutter speed can achieve a longer rain stripe effect, but the dynamics in the scene may not be clear enough.
Shooting the scenery in light rain weather, because the light rain is not obvious enough in the landscape, it is impossible to show the rain stripes. However, when shooting dark Woods or mountains, because there is no sunshine in the scenery, Mao Mao rain will appear a fog layer between dark objects, showing a far-shallow and near-deep tone. If the framing range is not very large, you can also show a misty rain scene in the scene with the brightness of nearby objects as the exposure tone.
2. Setting of digital camera in rainy days
The setting here is based on Olympus C-2000Z as an example. Different digital cameras may have different setting methods. Please follow the instruction manual. Let's take a camera as an example.
First, set the shutter speed, rotate the shooting mode setting dial, and set the shooting mode to "S (shutter priority mode)", then press and hold the up (down) arrow of the cross key to adjust the shutter speed to1/60s; Then set the white balance, open the LCD screen in shooting mode, press the menu key, press the up (down) arrow of the cross key to move to the option of white balance, and press the right arrow of the cross key to select the "cloudy" option from "automatic, sunny, cloudy, incandescent and fluorescent"; Finally, set the sensitivity. After opening the LCD screen in shooting mode, press the menu key, press the up (down) arrow of the cross key to move to the ISO option, and press the right arrow of the cross key to select the 400 option from ISO 100 200 400. Ok, after this setting, you can take pictures in rainy days. Of course, the photos taken on rainy days are definitely not as good as those taken on sunny days.
3. Precautions for shooting in rainy days
When shooting a rain scene, pay attention to the distance between the lens and the raindrops. Generally, you can cover the camera with an umbrella or put the camera in a plastic bag to expose the lens and viewfinder. If you want to show the outdoor rain scene through the window indoors, you can apply a thin layer of oil to the outdoor glass window. In this way, water droplets can easily hang on the glass, rendering the rainy atmosphere.
On rainy nights, under the headlights, street lamps, doorways and windows, the rain is particularly bright, clear and full of emotional appeal, which is a good place for us to get good picture effects. In addition, you can also use the specular reflection of the water surface or groundwater to photograph the blisters or waterlines that appear when raindrops hit the water surface; Shoot the colored beads and fuzzy water curtain formed by raindrops hitting the glass; Shoot crystal beads of rain and roll down flowers and plants. If you choose brightly colored objects, such as umbrellas for pedestrians and ponchos for bicycles in the rain, you can also use color contrast to enrich rainy days. Similarly, rain, busy streets, colorful lights and reflections on wet roads, together with the realistic change of zoom lens, can produce another flavor of night scene effect.
