David's feeding methods and precautions
I. Maintenance methods
1. Soil: It likes to grow in soil rich in humus. When preparing soil, humus soil and coarse sand can be mixed evenly. In this way, the soil is loose, breathable and can keep moisture continuously, which is very suitable for its growth. In addition, you can also buy nutrient soil suitable for David's growth from the flower shop.
2. Lighting: It likes sunshine very much, but it can't accept direct glare. In summer, you can temporarily move to a cooler place to prevent David from being exposed to direct sunlight. You can put it indoors to receive sunshine in winter, and normal sunshine in spring and autumn is enough.
3. Temperature: David is suitable to grow in the environment of 15-25 degrees Celsius. Its cold tolerance is very poor. Even in winter, the lowest temperature can't be lower than 5 degrees Celsius, otherwise it can't grow normally. At this time, it should be moved indoors for maintenance as much as possible to avoid frostbite.
4. Moisture: David needs more moisture. He must water it for the first time, but not too much. When watering, water a few times, and try to control the amount of water in summer to avoid root rot due to David. It is best to move indoors in continuous rainstorm weather, otherwise there may be a lot of water accumulation. You can water it twice a day in spring and summer and once in autumn. Pay attention to drainage in rainy season to avoid root rot.
Second, feeding skills
1, reproduction: David can reproduce by cutting, and a small amount of water must be provided when planting. Spring is the most suitable season for cutting. It is necessary to cut a short section of plants in good growth condition to produce callus, and then insert it into the prepared substrate for culture.
2. Change the pot: first put it in a well-lit place for a period of time, appropriately reduce the water supply, and make its branches and cadres stronger, so that it is not easy to be damaged when changing the pot. When changing pots, be sure to leave some soil at the roots and change them together to avoid hurting the roots and affecting the subsequent growth.
Third, the problem diagnosis and treatment
1, Insect pests: After the occurrence of insect pests, it is advisable to spray chemicals appropriately. It is best to cut off the leaves with insects as soon as possible after discovery, so as not to infect other branches, or artificially remove insects.
2, leaf hair: mostly caused by lack of water, you can increase the number of watering, move it indoors, and do relevant protection.
Four. Other issues
1. Can it be cultured indoors? This is a plant that is naturally sunny. If the indoor lighting is good, it is recommended to raise it in a place with good indoor lighting conditions. If the indoor lighting conditions are poor, don't keep it indoors, but keep it in a place with good outdoor lighting.
2. Edible: David has no data to show that it is toxic, so try not to eat it. No nutritional value, not recommended.
