Track map of Typhoon No.3 in 2022

Typhoon No.3 "Siam Ba" made landfall in Dianbai, Guangdong yesterday (2nd) afternoon 15, and entered Guangxi at night. At present, its intensity has weakened to tropical storm level (level 8, 20 m/s).

It is expected that the intensity of Siam will gradually weaken and move northward in the future, and it will enter Hunan with tropical low pressure intensity during the day on the 4th. It is expected that the wind and rain will also affect journey to the south. From 3rd to 6th, due to the combined influence of Siam and its weakened low-pressure circulation and westerly trough, there will be heavy rainfall in Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, Shandong, northern Jiangsu, Anhui and other places, which requires special care. The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a typhoon blue warning and a rainstorm yellow warning this morning.

Meteorologists have warned that although the intensity of Typhoon Siam has obviously weakened, its residual cloud system will continue to affect China and bring a lot of rainfall. The public should pay attention to defense.

It should be noted that in early July, there was still more rainfall in the northern region. From 3rd to 4th, there will be frequent rainfall in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan and Shandong, and the local area will be accompanied by strong convective weather. From 5th to 8th, there will be strong rainfall in North China, Northeast China and East Inner Mongolia, accompanied by strong convective weather.
