Suqian is from Jiangsu Province.

Suqian, formerly known as Xia Xiang, Suyu and Zhongwu, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. It is located in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, the northern part of Jiangsu Province, the center of Xuzhou City, Lianyungang City and Huai 'an City, and the core city of Xuzhou Metropolitan Area and Jianghuai Ecological Economic Zone. As of June 2023, Suqian has jurisdiction over 2 districts and 3 counties, with a total area of 8,555 square kilometers. By the end of 2022, Suqian had a permanent population of 4,975,300.

Suqian is the hometown of Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu. It has a history of more than 5,000 years of civilization and a history of 2700 years of city building. It used to be the capital of Zhong Wu, with a long history and a rich collection of people.
