A story about Zhu Kezhen-lifelong learning.

1974 During the Spring Festival, Zhu Kezhen, who was 84 years old and seriously ill, lay in bed and kept coughing. But when he heard the voice of his granddaughter, Wang Rong, a researcher at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, he was invited in and continued to talk to himself about some frontier topics in international theoretical physics research. Wang Rong said loudly, but Zhu Kezhen couldn't hear clearly with a hearing aid. Holding his head, he tilted his body slowly, and layers of sweat oozed from his forehead because of illness. Wang Rong was so sad to see grandpa, and advised Zhu Kezhen to have a rest. But Zhu Kezhen seemed to know that he was dying, and insisted that Wang Rong write down the contents of this lecture and told him that even if he died, he would be a wise man. Two weeks later, Zhu Kezhen was critically ill, but he clearly recorded the weather that day and left this world the next day.

Zhu Kezhen is the founder of modern geography and meteorology in China. He kept a diary of the daily weather and phenology for 38 years. The immortal spirit of "lifelong learning", persistent learning attitude, and the idea of being committed to facts spread all over the world.
