What unforgettable domestic travel experiences do you have?

On my first trip in 2023, I went to Guangxi and Yunnan.

The route is Nanning-Beihai-Weizhou Island-Qinzhou-Dongxing-Detian Waterfall-Baise-Puzhehei-Mengzi-Jianshui-Hani Terrace-Xishuangbanna-Lancang-Kunming.

Almost all the way to the border town and experienced a trip to the southwest!

Let's talk about Guangxi first

1. Nanning

Nanning is the starting point of this trip.

Eating authentic old friend powder in Nanning and visiting Qingxiu Mountain, a super park, impressed me the most about the night markets and snacks in Nanning. Wandering in front of the insect-frying stall in the night market for a long time, I finally didn't have the courage to try.

2. Weizhou Island

We went to Weizhou Island for several days, and it rained for several days, which made the seaside scenery lose its color and made our plan to go out to sea to see Brucella whales fall through. However, even if the weather is bad, the color of the sea is still clear blue. Therefore, the sunny Weizhou Island should be a very suitable place for leisure and vacation. Be sure to watch the weather forecast before going to the island. The weather is really important.

In addition, every year from the end of 65438+February to the middle of February, there will be Brucella whales in Weizhou Island, and you can participate in whale watching activities in Weizhou Island this season. Of course, whether you can see it or not depends on luck.

3. Dongxing

Dongxing is a border town, facing the cities of Vietnam across the river.

This is the closest I have ever been to the border, and the nearest place is only 50 meters away from Vietnam. On the observation deck above Dongxing Port, you can also overlook the opposite Vietnamese city.

There are many small shops selling Vietnamese specialties, such as coffee, cashews and slippers. , next to Dongxing Port. You can find some snacks here, or you can order a cup of Vietnamese drip in Saigon coffee and chat all afternoon. I recommend trying Vietnamese bread, which is super delicious.

Dongxing also has many boundary markers. From the Qing Dynasty to the present, the visible and tangible borders of the motherland have been outlined.

4. Detian Waterfall

Detian Waterfall has always been a place I want to see. I finally got what I wanted this time.

Although winter is not the rainy season, the water potential of the waterfall is still abundant, making it the fourth largest transnational waterfall in the world.

Compared with Dongxing, Detian Waterfall is closer to Vietnam. When traveling by boat, you can even hear the dialogue between Vietnamese tourists on the other side.

According to local people, the boat can be rowed to the other side of Vietnam to have a look.
