Main points of typhoon weather prevention

1. Before the typhoon comes, you should always listen to and watch the latest news about the typhoon released by radio, television, newspapers, meteorological hotlines and other media.

2. The public should prepare flashlights, candles, radios, food, drinking water and commonly used drugs in advance, check whether the doors and windows are firm, remove the hanging objects, and check the circuits, fire sources and gas.

Don't take shelter from the wind and rain beside the building. Strong winds may blow down buildings and high-altitude facilities (such as dangerous houses and trees). In addition, put away things on the balcony at home, such as flowerpots and decorations. If it doesn't work, throw it away before the wind blows it off and hits people.

Residents should not go out at will, and ensure that the elderly and children stay in the safest place at home.

When there is water in front of your house, you can't walk by old experience and try to avoid water. When it is impossible to bypass, it is best to use a wooden stick to test it first, so that it is waterproof and deep, and then eliminate the dangers such as underwater manholes.
