Detailed data collection of Guangzhou meteorological satellite ground station

Guangzhou meteorological satellite ground station is an important part of China's meteorological satellite ground application system and one of the four meteorological satellite ground stations under the National Satellite Meteorological Center. It is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, covering an area of more than 60,000 square meters. It was built in 1978 and officially put into use in 1986. It is a national key construction project during the Sixth Five-Year Plan and the Seventh Five-Year Plan.

It is mainly responsible for on-orbit tracking, on-orbit testing, satellite measurement and control, ranging, extraction, processing and forwarding of satellite telemetry data. At the same time, it undertakes the receiving, processing, application and archiving services of NOAA series polar orbit meteorological satellites in the United States and MTSAT series geostationary meteorological satellites in Japan. Since 2003, the receiving, processing and application system of ——EOS, an American earth environment monitoring satellite, has been added, which belongs to one of the four national backbone sites. After years of construction, Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station has been built into a large-scale comprehensive satellite ground station with the most advanced and conventional meteorological detection means such as polar orbit meteorological satellite ground application system, geostationary meteorological satellite mesoscale utilization station, geostationary meteorological satellite ranging station, VSAT satellite communication earth station and national basic meteorological station.

With the development of meteorological satellites and satellite meteorology in China, the existing stations can no longer meet the needs of business development. Therefore, I stood in the northern suburb of Guangzhou and opened a new station area (Bili Bili District). Bili Bili District covers an area of 1.68 mu, with a larger station area and stronger design business capability. It will have the operational capability of tracking, receiving and processing meteorological satellites and other satellites. After the new station area is completed and put into use, it will make greater contributions to the development of satellite meteorology in China.

Basic introduction Chinese name: Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station Address: No.280, Dongguanzhuang Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou Construction Time: 1978 Putting into use Time: 1986 Area: 60,000 square meters Nature: Meteorological Satellite Ground Station's business scope, basic tasks, service contents and open contents, business scope Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station is responsible for the construction of related projects of China Meteorological Satellite Ground Application System. On-orbit tracking and on-orbit testing of China Meteorological Satellite, data forwarding, storage, application product development and distribution of China Meteorological Satellite and some foreign meteorological satellites such as NOAA and GMS, and ranging of geostationary meteorological satellites. At the same time, it also undertakes the observation task of ground meteorological data, and undertakes the tracking of other satellites and the receiving and processing of data when necessary. Since 2003, the receiving, processing and application system of ——EOS, an American earth environment monitoring satellite, has been added, which belongs to one of the four national backbone sites. After more than 20 years of construction, Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station has been built into a large-scale comprehensive satellite ground station with polar orbit meteorological satellite tracking and control, data receiving and processing system, geostationary meteorological satellite ground station ranging system (CDAS station), geostationary meteorological satellite mesoscale data utilization station, satellite communication earth station and EOS/MODIS data receiving and processing system. The basic task of Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station The basic task of the polar orbit system is: 1, receiving the very high-resolution real-time cloud image (HRPT), high-resolution real-time cloud image (APT), delayed cloud image (DPT) and real-time and delayed telemetry data transmitted by Fengyun polar orbit meteorological satellite. Guangzhou meteorological satellite ground station 2. Realize the communication with the data processing center and accept the command and dispatch of the center. 3, according to the needs of command and dispatch and system analysis, processing related satellite engineering telemetry data. 4. Compatible with receiving and processing meteorological satellite data such as NOAA in the United States. Guangzhou Ranging Substation of FY-2 meteorological satellite is an integral part of FY-2 ground measurement and control system. It and Jingwu Ranging Sub-station form a three-point ranging system, which provides orbit parameters for FY-2 meteorological satellite and determines the position of extrasolar points. In order to ensure the accuracy, a ranging substation is built in Australia, which is a backup with the Guangzhou ranging substation. Basic task: 1. Monitor the cloud images played by Fengyun-2 satellite. 2. Receive GMS cloud image data for comparison. 3. Use Fengyun-2 broadcast materials and GMS materials (to provide services for relevant users). The ground meteorological station is the national basic meteorological data station, which undertakes ordinary and important tasks. Conventional meteorological data collected include: temperature, humidity, wind power, air pressure, sunshine, rainfall, evaporation, acid rain clouds, etc. Observe 8 times a day. In addition to ensuring normal business operation, with the development of market economy, in order to make full use of my advantages in information, technology, talents and advanced instruments and fully grasp the pulse of the times, we provide the following services for our users according to the requirements of different users: forest fire monitoring, vegetation status, crop yield evaluation, ecological variation of fresh water and seawater resources, water resources investigation, drought and flood disaster monitoring, land use and urban heat island effect research. Among them, 1988 satellite forest fire monitoring project was successfully developed. It takes the heat island effect as the radiation level and geographical position of forest fire, which makes the satellite forest fire monitoring reach the domestic advanced level in terms of technical methods, timeliness (reporting within one hour), fire site identification (3 mu) and reporting accuracy (1KM), and becomes the first in China since 1988. Since 1988, the station has also undertaken the task of monitoring forest fires in Guangdong Province, which has made important contributions to greening Guangdong for ten years and reducing the losses caused by forest fires. At the same time, it also provides relevant departments with satellite remote sensing data and products such as vegetation status, crop yield estimation, water resources investigation and geological structure in Guangdong. Over the years, satellite stations have attached great importance to the popularization of science and technology, and actively carried out popular science education and publicity activities by using abundant satellite information (meteorological satellites, communication satellites, resource satellites, etc.). ), providing a place for students and people from all walks of life to learn about the world's satellite field. The main contents of popular science education in Guangzhou meteorological satellite ground station are four sections: visiting practice, lectures on scientific and technological knowledge, watching meteorological satellite knowledge videos and expert consultation. Open content to visit meteorological satellite receiving system, ranging station, popular science exhibition hall and Guangzhou Meteorological Observatory; Watch the video "Walking into the Satellite Meteorological Hi-Tech" and be a meteorological observation intern, weather forecast host, etc. In March 2005, it was approved as a national AAA-level tourist attraction, and became the first satellite meteorological science popularization base in the national meteorological system with the brand of industry. Over the years, the base has received hundreds of thousands of tourists from all walks of life inside and outside the province, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. People can learn how to obtain high-tech satellite information by visiting and browsing. The position of China's space industry in the world, and what impact does satellite meteorology have on the national economy and people's lives? Enhance everyone's confidence in the development of science and technology in the motherland.
