How is the local weather forecast calculated?

Local weather forecast usually starts with statistical model. It is also connected with the big model, because the big model can represent the temperature and precipitation of specific cities. In fact, after a long period of dragging and dropping, these statistical tools work well, and the predictions they provide are more accurate than manual predictions. But when the statistical data is wrong, the accuracy of the prediction will be greatly reduced. This often happens when the weather changes abnormally.
