Taizhou Prefecture City Wall
Taizhou Prefecture City Wall (also known as Jiangnan Great Wall, Jiangnan Badaling) is located in the old town of Linhai City. It was rebuilt during the Fu reign (1008 AD to 1016 AD). After the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty ordered the demolition of city walls in various places, the Taizhou City Wall was spared due to its important function of preventing floods. It has been repaired in the past dynasties, and Wengcheng was built in the 51st year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1712). It is a city wall with dual functions of military defense and flood control. It is now a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national AAAA-level scenic spot. Mr. Luo Zhewen, a leading figure in ancient Chinese architecture, praised the Taizhou City Wall as the "teacher" and "model" for the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty in the north.
East Lake
East Lake is located in Linhai City. It was excavated in the Northern Song Dynasty. The lake has ten hectares of flat waves, picturesque pavilions and platforms, a hanging island in the middle, and bridges connected by embankments. The spring breeze and autumn moon are full of light and fragrance, and the lake and mountains complement each other. The name Linhai East Lake comes from the fact that it is close to the east side of the city wall of Taizhou Prefecture. It was originally the confluence of Baiyun and Shangong streams in the north of the city. The history of this lake also has some roots. It is said that it was dug by the county governor Qian Xuan in the fourth year of Xining in Song Dynasty (1071). It is nearly 500 meters long from north to south and about 150 meters wide from east to west.
Kuocang Mountain

Jinzi Mountain (Jinshan)

It has two towering peaks and a concave valley in the middle. According to legend, when Master Huanghua attained enlightenment and ascended to heaven, he dropped his scarf and formed this mountain. The stone wall on the mountain is still engraved with "the scarf place". The shape of the mountain looks like a unicorn to the east and a ferocious cow to the west. The twin towers at the top of the peak have stood side by side for thousands of years and are called "Wenfeng" and "Wenfeng". They were built in the Tang Dynasty. There is a Nanshan Palace Pagoda built on the mountainside, and there are many pagodas in the west. There are more than a thousand Buddhas per brick, also known as "Thousand Buddha Pagodas". Four towers on one mountain are really rare. There are two peaks facing each other on the top of the mountain. There is a tower on each peak, called the "Big and Small Wenfeng Towers". Taozhu City
