What caused the typhoon?
Typhoon is formed under the joint action of high seawater temperature, sufficient heat, abundant water vapor and certain deflection.
The incubation period is on the surface of tropical ocean. When the temperature of seawater reaches above 26 degrees Celsius, seawater begins to evaporate, resulting in a large amount of water vapor rising. At the same time, the condensation of water vapor releases huge heat energy, which makes the surrounding air rise to form a low pressure area. This low pressure will gradually form a closed circulation system under the influence of the earth's rotation and topography.
Form a vortex. When the warm and humid air rising on the ocean surface begins to rotate, it constantly absorbs more water vapor and forms a strong tropical depression. The air pressure in this low-pressure center drops rapidly, forming a rotating typhoon eye in the circulation system. At the same time, due to the influence of the earth's rotation, fresh air is continuously injected from the periphery of the typhoon eye.
Strengthen and develop. As the tropical depression continues to move over the tropical ocean, absorbing more water vapor, the intensity of the typhoon gradually increases. At the same time, the rotation speed of the typhoon has also accelerated, and the wind has been increasing, and it has begun to affect the surrounding areas. This stage is the most active and dangerous period of typhoon.
Weaken and dissipate. When a typhoon enters some specific areas, such as land or cold sea areas, it will lose the conditions for maintaining and replenishing energy, gradually weaken and eventually dissipate. In this process, typhoons will bring heavy rainfall, hurricane-level waves and other bad weather to the areas along the way.
Typhoon is a serious meteorological disaster evolved from tropical depression system in the ocean. Its formation requires high seawater temperature, enough heat, enough water vapor and the rotation of the earth. The development of typhoon goes through the stages of gestation, vortex formation, enhanced development, weakening and dissipation.
About typhoon
1, Typhoon Naming: Typhoons all over the world have their own naming system, which is convenient for monitoring and studying different typhoons. For example, the names of typhoons in the western Pacific are provided by APEC members and used in alphabetical order.
2. Impact of typhoon: Typhoon not only causes direct disasters such as strong winds and heavy rains, but also causes secondary disasters such as waves, storm surges and flash floods. When the typhoon lands, it will destroy buildings, crops, traffic interruption and power interruption, and bring huge losses to people's lives, property and social economy.
3. Typhoon early warning and defense: In order to reduce the losses caused by typhoons, various countries and regions have established perfect typhoon monitoring and early warning systems. With the help of satellites, weather radar and meteorological observation stations, the track and intensity of typhoons are tracked in real time, and early warning information is released in time. When the typhoon comes, take corresponding defensive measures, close the doors and windows, and evacuate the danger zone to ensure your own safety.
