Avoid the debt in the temple

In the past, China New Year was also called the Year-end. As the saying goes, "debt lasts only a year." What is owed or what is owed must be settled at the end of the year. Legend has it that on New Year's Eve, a debtor hid in the temple to avoid New Year's Eve. After the news spread, the debtors agreed that a group of debtors would attack him on New Year's Eve, and the creditors were afraid to enter the temple. Later generations are used to each other.

In addition, it is said that Wuyu Temple in Zhouxiang, Cixi is also a place to hide debts on New Year's Eve, also known as "debt-hiding temple".
