Baikuanggou Waterfall

Yongtai is famous for its beautiful scenery and strange waterfalls. Among them, the canyon waterfall landscape represented by Qingyun Mountain, a national 4A-level scenic spot, is unique and representative. However, the Baikuanggou Waterfall I want to talk about is more peculiar and better than that of Qingyun Mountain. "Baikuanggou" has no name. As a mountaineer born and raised in Sri Lanka, I only occasionally sigh that this mountain is different. During the wet season, I will see a stream rushing out of the cliff and forming a waterfall. But such waterfalls will not attract the attention of mountain people who have become accustomed to it. Therefore, Baikuanggou has always been nameless, and the nameless Baikuanggou has always been lonely. Usually only the farmers who cut wood and burn charcoal in the village will patronize, but the villagers value the lush trees here more. Cliffs and water can only snuggle up alone, and only bats make their homes here.

Finally, one day, a mountaineer was attracted by the landscape here, especially the waterfalls from top to bottom, and donated money and several comrades to show the scenery here to the world. They named the scenic spot after the villagers, and then extended the meaning of "Hundred Waterfalls" according to many waterfalls. However, it took four years from development to meeting you, and it was not until 2006 that it officially opened its doors. I was fortunate enough to witness her elegance, see her charm and sigh her beauty.

I accompanied the guests that day and entered the scenic spot at 1 pm. Cross Dazhangxi and then enter the scenic spot. We took an iron barge and ferried by thick ropes tied by boatmen on both sides. After crossing Xihe Zhang, the sand on the beach is crystal clear, and the rocks are like snowflake cakes. Usually, despite looking for thousands of times on the highway beyond the mountain, I can't see the way up the mountain. Today, I finally found this road among the Woods. Mountain roads are paved with stone steps, which are steep and hidden under trees. Jianshui from top to bottom, Dingding Cave, Ming Che Valley; The shadows of the trees are gorgeous, the scattered sunlight shines on the tourists, and people are sweating and panting. The scenery on the road is no different from other scenic spots in Yongtai, but it increases the difficulty of climbing. Are all good things to be found through unremitting pursuit? Does God always leave pearls in the sanctuary? A hard work, a harvest, not far away, I saw a big waterfall. Water rushed out of the boulder, the hole at the bottom of the stone was empty, water flew into the rain curtain, the wind blew, and water splashed everywhere. We rushed to the water, took off our shoes and played in the water. Soon our clothes got wet and the summer heat disappeared. Squeezing under the water curtain and looking out, it's like entering water curtain cave, the hometown of the Monkey King in Huaguoshan, which makes us linger. What else is on this? Everyone in the same trade swam, and his answer made us very excited. Everyone quickened their pace.

Along the way, there are several waterfalls of different sizes hanging on the roadside, but they are not enough to stay. We keep struggling upward. Finally, because the weather was too hot and the mountain road was too steep, several people stopped to rest in the Woods by the water. Others continue to climb the mountain and get close to the target. Just when we adjusted our mentality and wanted to sprint again, the mountain road suddenly became gentle, the road bypassed the bridge from the water side, and the mountain peak turned around. There is a big crack between the two mountains, and the cliff stands steeply, covering the sky, and the cliff is convex and concave, forming a hidden and cool platform below. This platform is where the waterfall water stops, where the water stops in a pool and rushes forward. The developer also set up a rest stone bench and restaurant here. There are many tourists sitting by the water to enjoy the unique coolness of this summer city, and some people actually fell asleep on the stone chairs. There are natural stone nests on the cliff, which are occupied by bats. The main waterfall is less than 50 meters from here. Near the waterfall, the two mountains are closer together, and the water mist sprayed by the waterfall comes face to face. Waterfalls moisten the vegetation on both sides, and the ground is covered with moss, which is a bit slippery. Turn another hill, and the main waterfall of Baikuanggou will be displayed in front of you. Looking up, it is about 100 meters high and the cliff is abrupt. Water leaks through the cracks in the boulder, rushes forward for a short time, and then accepts gravity in turn and pounces on the earth. Due to the uneven size of the water flow and different forces, it was pulled into a banner. When I went down, I turned into thin curtain beads. There was no current, no roar when landing, only a whisper. The waterfall impacts to form an airflow, which constitutes the most distinctive wind tunnel in Baikuanggou-there is a hole between two huge stones under the waterfall, and the airflow rushes up from the bottom of the hole to form a wind tunnel. One stop at the tuyere is very refreshing. Under the waterfall, the vines are steamed and form a rainbow in the sun. We stopped here for a long time. There is also a big cave next to it, which is full of bats.

Further up, there are a series of waterfalls, high and low, wide and narrow. It's really a waterfall world, and the rocks are pale.

Because of the time, we only trace back to the source of the main waterfall, watch the spectacular water flow, and find out whether the water that formed this momentum of "going straight down to the three thousands of feet" came from the Nine Days Galaxy.

When I returned to the canyon platform, I thought of several companions who had just arrived halfway, thinking that they missed the beautiful scenery just because of this little distance and left a regret. So someone went down to call them. In the end, they all enjoyed the real style of Baikuanggou Waterfall, leaving a sigh and admiration. But we also missed other scenic spots because of various factors. I'm sorry. We can only wait until next time.
