Why is the weather temperature high in Guangxi?

Guangxi is located at a low latitude, with the Tropic of Cancer running through the middle, bordering tropical oceans in the south, Nanling Mountains in the north and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the west. It belongs to the transition zone from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the southeast coastal hills, and has the topographical characteristics of high, medium and low in the week, which is like a basin with many mountains and few plains. Guangxi is located in the south-central subtropical monsoon climate zone. Under the joint action of solar radiation, atmospheric circulation and geographical environment, it has formed the climate characteristics of warm climate, sufficient heat, abundant precipitation, clear wet and dry, moderate sunshine, less winter and more summer, frequent disasters, prominent droughts and floods, and abundant wind energy resources in coastal and mountainous areas.

Guangxi has a warm climate and abundant heat, with an annual average temperature of 16.5 ~ 23.438+0℃. Isotherms are basically distributed along the latitude direction, and the temperature decreases from south to north, from valley plain to hilly and mountainous area. The annual average temperature in the whole region is about 65% above 20.0℃, in which the Youjiang Valley, Zuojiang Valley and coastal areas are above 22.0℃, and Weizhou Island is as high as 23. 1℃. The average annual temperature in northeast Guilin and leye county, Nandan and Jinxiu, which are at higher altitudes, is lower than 18.0℃, of which leye county and Ziyuan are only 16.5℃.

The extreme maximum temperature in Guangxi is 33.7 ~ 42.5℃. Among them, the coastal areas, southern mountainous areas of Baise City, Jinxiu, Nandan, Fengshan, leye county and Tiandeng are between 33.7 and 37.8℃, while the rest areas are between 38.0 and 42.5℃, and Baise is the highest in the whole region.

The extreme minimum temperature in Guangxi is -8.4 ~ 2.9℃. The temperature in northern Guangxi is -8.4 ~-4.0℃, and the resources are the lowest in the whole region. The extreme minimum temperatures in Beihai, southern Fangchenggang, Bobai and Duan are above 0℃, and the rest are between -3.9 ~-0.2℃.

The accumulated temperature with daily average temperature ≥ 10℃ (referred to as accumulated temperature ≥ 10℃) indicates the available heat resources during the growth period of thermophilic crops. The accumulated temperature of Guangxi ≥ 10℃ is between 5000℃ and 8300℃, which is one of the provinces with the highest accumulated temperature in China, with the characteristics of increasing from north to south and from hilly areas to valley plains. Such rich and diverse heat resources provide favorable climatic conditions for developing multiple cropping systems and various cash crops according to local conditions.
