Where is Qingmuchuan?

Geographical location of Aoki River:

Qingmuchuan is located in the northwest corner of Hanzhong ningqiang county in the south of Shaanxi, at the junction of Shaanxi, Gansu and Sichuan provinces, bordering Qingchuan County in Sichuan Province in the west and Wudu County and Kangxian County in Gansu Province in the north. Known as "one foot in three provinces", it is the westernmost ancient town in Shaanxi Province. Jiuzhaigou is 227 kilometers west, with a total area of 208 square kilometers.

The history of Qingmuchuan:

Qingmuchuan was originally a mixed area of Qiang and Han in Sichuan. During Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty, the imperial court unified the place name and named it Yongningli.

During Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, it was Ningqiang Zhouxi Road 18 brand;

After the founding of New China, the villagers took a local big Aoki tree as a symbol and renamed it Aoki River.
