Can succulents be exposed to the sun above zero at night?

Most fleshy varieties are leathery when exposed for a long time. As long as the basin soil is kept dry, frostbite will not occur even if the temperature drops to about-1℃-2℃. If the temperature is above 0℃ at night, it is basically safe (except frosty weather). However, some varieties are particularly hardy, such as Master, Xiong Tongzi, Fu Niang and Raul. They usually need to be stored in a non-open environment with a temperature as low as 5℃, otherwise frostbite, defoliation and leaf water are very likely to occur.

My flesh is basically exposed all year round, like the temperature dropped a few days ago. The lowest temperature here has dropped to about 2℃, and there is heavy snow in the surrounding mountainous areas. I didn't collect it, but I threw it out in the sun, just to cover it when it rains in the future. At such a low temperature, succulents are not only not frostbitten, but also more beautiful in the sun behind them. It is necessary to know that low temperature and sufficient light are the only magic weapons to color the meat state, so it is suggested that the subjects can directly put other meat products outside except those that are particularly cold-resistant.

What should I pay attention to when the temperature is above 0℃?

I suggest that the subject pay attention to the following points: First, pay attention to frost weather. Although frost weather usually occurs in autumn, in fact, frost occasionally occurs in spring. Frost weather is very destructive to succulents, and even succulents exposed for a long time will be frostbitten. Therefore, if the weather forecast shows frost, the subjects must receive succulents in a closed environment in time.

Second, pay attention to keep the fleshy soil dry. Under the condition of keeping the basin soil dry, the frost resistance of succulents will increase a lot. If the moist succulents in the basin soil will be frostbitten when the temperature is as low as 0℃, then the succulents that keep the basin soil completely dry can withstand the low temperature of about-2℃-3℃. However, some succulent varieties that are particularly resistant to freezing, such as Dongmei, Pink Lady, Waste Moon, Guanyin Lotus, Purple Peony, etc., can even resist the low temperature of about MINUS 5℃ when the basin soil is dry. Therefore, if the subject does this well, it will not only make succulents safer, but also make their colors more beautiful.

Third, pay attention to bird prevention. In winter and spring, because there is less food in the wild, birds especially like to move around the house. If you don't pay attention to bird prevention, some fleshy leaves with round or thick leaves are very vulnerable to birds, such as peach eggs, grapes, cartoon Tom, mung beans, white moon shadows, red-edged ghosts and so on. I generally dare not put these varieties in conspicuous places. Even if I take many defensive measures, they will still get hurt occasionally. Yesterday morning, I found that my grapes were pecked off by those stupid birds!
