At present, he undertakes teaching tasks such as numerical weather forecast, numerical simulation of atmospheric problems, geophysical fluid dynamics and air-sea interaction. , is a compulsory course for undergraduates. At present, he is in charge of the key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China "Study on the Formation Mechanism of Interdecadal Oscillation in the Pacific Ocean and Its Relationship with Climate Change in East Asia" and the project of National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars "Study on Air-sea Coupling Dynamics in Mid-latitude North Pacific Ocean", and is also the project leader of the national "973" project "Study on the Theory and Method of Monitoring and Forecasting Flood-causing Rainstorms in South China". He presided over and mainly undertook 16 projects such as national climbing, "973", tackling key scientific and technological problems and funds. Won the first prize of Natural Science Award (ranked first) of Science and Technology Award of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, Tu Youth Science and Technology Award of China Meteorological Society, Jiangsu Youth Science and Technology Award and special government allowance issued by the State Council.

He has been engaged in the study of air-sea interaction and climate dynamics for a long time, and has published more than 90 papers in major international SCI and major domestic core journals, and co-published 2 works. The results have been cited many times by 10 papers in major international SCI journals, and also by domestic counterparts.
