Ok, let's get down to business. Yesterday, the author was invited to participate in the Job L test drive held by Geely in Pingtan, Fujian. As a brand-new model based on CMA super architecture, equipped with Shen Qing Hi F hybrid /Drive-E dual power system, I only had a static experience of the new car at Chengdu Auto Show. How on earth does Job L drive? "The best city SUV to drive"?

The full range of Job L models offer three powertrains: 1.5T+7DCT, 2.0T+7DCT and Ray Shen Qing Hi F hybrid (1.5T+3-speed DHT). The guide price range is 129800- 175800 yuan. The version I tested this time is

Let's start with the conclusion. From my personal point of view, if Geely officials add the qualifier "1.5 million price", it is no problem to position Job L as "the best city SUV".

Specifically, the test drive was held at Pingtan International Circuit in Fujian. Different from other closed venues in China, Pingtan Raceway is more than 4km long, including more medium-speed straights and high-speed long bends. At the same time, the whole circuit is around the residential business circle, so it has the title of "city international circuit". Therefore, Geely's official choice of this place can better reflect the performance of job L's urban road conditions.

Driving a vehicle from the starting area, the first item I experienced was 0- 100km/h acceleration, and because I was driving a hybrid vehicle, the item we really tested was 0-50km/h acceleration (the reasons will be explained below). Starting from the floor oil, the dynamic response of the vehicle is very direct, and thanks to the comprehensive maximum power of 180kW and the peak torque of 545n·m, the feeling of pushing back is still obvious when accelerating, and it takes only 3.4 seconds to complete the acceleration of 0-50km/h. This scene simulates overtaking under urban working conditions, and it is relatively easy for Job L to be the "king of traffic lights".

It is worth mentioning that if we choose "ejection start": step on the brake with the left foot, step on the accelerator with the right foot, and release the brake when the vehicle posture slowly "heads up", we can achieve an ejection effect. At this time, the acceleration time of 0-50km/h can reach 2.8 seconds at the earliest.

However, because the hybrid version of Job L Hi F is equipped with a 3-speed DHT electric drive gearbox, it will automatically shift gears at about 80km/h, and there will be a shift delay of about a few tenths of a second, so the hybrid version only tests the acceleration time of 0-50 km/h. According to the actual measurement of the media peers who test drive the fuel version, the acceleration of Job L 2.0T (160 kW/325 N m) version is 7.3.

After completing the 0-50km/h acceleration test, the second test drive of Job L circuit is a high-speed curve, and the specific requirement is to pass through the high-speed curve at a speed of 70 km/h. All new cars are equipped with independent suspension combination of front McPherson and rear multi-links, and thanks to the chassis adjustment skills under the CMA framework, when I drive Job L through the high-speed curve, the support performance of the whole car is close to that of German cars, and the vehicle roll is well suppressed and the cornering posture is stable.

After that, in the snake-shaped pile winding and emergency lane-changing test, even if I did it at a speed of about 70km/h, although the vehicle was inclined when passing, the strong support of the vehicle suspension and the intervention of the body stability system could keep the vehicle in a controllable state all the time, and the follow-up performance of the body was very good during the whole passing process, which made me full of confidence in driving.

In addition to driving performance, Job L is infinitely close to German cars, and the driving comfort of the new car also has a good performance. When driving at low speed through the bumpy road simulated by the speed bump matrix, the suspension of Job L is very simple to filter the bumps, and there will be no unnecessary jumps. In the whole test drive process, the vehicle chassis can also absorb small vibrations very well, and you can hardly feel small bumps from the road when driving on the paved road, so the integrity is very good.

Of course, as an urban SUV, the NVH performance of the vehicle is also an indicator that consumers pay close attention to. However, it is stated in advance that Pingtan is located in the "three major outlets in the world". The weather was bad on the day of the test drive, and there were 7 or 8 strong winds in the venue. Therefore, the author cannot judge the result of vehicle noise suppression for the time being. But what is certain is that Job L has excellent control over road noise and tire noise after the vehicle reaches the speed of100 km/h.

Regarding the steering feel of the vehicle, the author used the "intelligent mode" in the whole process of four driving modes. At this time, the damping feeling of the steering wheel is directly proportional to the vehicle speed. In short, it gives me the best sense of steering at any time, which is commendable.

Finally, I personally have a little complaint about the mixed version of Job L Hi F. Although its braking distance is 35m in the actual braking test of 100km/h-0, which is an excellent level, its feedback to my brake foot is not too cold, which is manifested in the fact that the braking in the first half is "virtual" and the braking in the second half is too real, that is, "not linear enough", but on the court.

Generally speaking, the driving and handling quality of Job L with the price of 6.5438+0.5 million should be the best in its class, and it has outstanding performance in suspension support, chassis shock absorption and NVH performance. In other words, Job L can not only take care of our daily commute, but also go to the mountain road for a little "speed and passion", so I personally think that Job L, the best urban SUV with a price of 654.38+0.5 million, is worthy of the name.

Since many media colleagues, including me, have written about the static experience of Job L, I won't go into details here, but mainly talk about my personal subjective feelings.

First of all, let me talk about my favorite part about the overall shape of Job L. Job L's daytime running lights adopt the through LED strip design, and at the same time, the logo is skillfully integrated into it, with a large area of blackened air intake grille, which is full of momentum and the whole front face has strong recognition and visual impact. The daytime running light bar composed of 182 LED light-emitting units also brings a good sense of technology to the front of the car.

However, regarding the design of the side and tail of the vehicle, especially the D-pillar part of the vehicle, I personally feel that Job L is slightly overexertion, and the waistline of the vehicle body rises obviously here, which is visually convergent with the suspended roof shape with a slight slip back, and finally makes the visual center of gravity of the vehicle tail somewhat high, which does not match the front half of the vehicle. Turning my eyes to the car, Job L gave me an instant feeling of "extremely krypton 00 1", especially the shape of its LCD dashboard is exactly the same as that of extremely krypton 00 1.
