Colorful auspicious clouds and hat clouds frequently appear in Yunnan. How did this happen?

Caiyun is a typical Japanese-Chinese situation. Natural light passes through small ice crystals and raindrops between clouds, and the natural light separated by spectrometer produces colorful brilliance. Multicolored Xiangyun, also known as Caiyun, refers to the electronic optical state produced by the sunlight source according to the reflection surface or mapping of ice crystals between clouds.

When there are small ice crystals and raindrops in the sky, the light source will produce similar transmission and refraction phenomena according to their conditions. After the natural light dissolves, various colors of light interact with each other, putting colorful clothes on the blue sky. The generation standard of colorful clouds is stricter, which is why it is more difficult to see than seven-color rainbows. Just like this, the ancients endowed it with many representative practical significance, and colorful clouds were also regarded as king and wealth. In ancient times, colorful auspicious clouds were a kind of auspicious omen, called Qingyun, and Buddhists also regarded this situation as good luck falling from the sky. However, this name is actually just everyone's imagination. In fact, colorful clouds and colorful rainbows are normal weather phenomena.

As we know, natural light is actually not a kind of visible light, but a light source with many colors. The refractive index of light sources with different colors in the same substance is different, so under the mapping of objects such as prisms, white natural light becomes a color light source. When there are a lot of water mist and ice crystals in the clouds in the sky, this chemical substance becomes the fundamental place to map natural light. Moreover, because the water mist in the clouds is uneven, some areas are thick and some areas are thin, the sun jumps up and down in this water mist and ice crystals, and finally this colorful Xiangyun with uneven color is produced.

Colorful auspicious clouds are either auspicious signs or a common atmospheric phenomenon. If the following criteria are met, colorful auspicious clouds will usually appear. A thin cloud with small raindrops evenly distributed. There is a viewing angle of 10 to 40 degrees between this cloud and the sun light source, which is a scattering viewing angle, and it is sunny in broad daylight.
