Wutai Mountain is located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province.

Wutai Mountain belongs to the northern end of Taihang Mountain System, and stretches for more than 500 miles in Xinzhou City, including Wutai County, Fan Shi, Daixian County, Yuanping City and Dingxiang County. It consists of a series of mountains and peaks, five of which are as flat as platforms, hence the name Wutai.
