La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, is the capital of Bolivia

1. La Paz is the administrative capital of Bolivia, a South American country. It is the largest city, the political, economic and cultural center and transportation hub, and the capital of La Paz province, where the parliament and government agencies are located (the legal capital and the Supreme Court are located in Sucre).

La Paz is located in the La Paz Valley in the east of Bolivia Plateau, bordering Peru and Chile in the west, plateau in the southwest, mountain in the southeast, tropical valley in the east and rainforest belt on the edge of Amazon River basin in the north. The climate belongs to subtropical mountain climate, with an altitude of 3627 meters and an average annual temperature of 7℃, making it the highest capital in the world. La Paz's geographical location is very rich in mountain city characteristics. The city is surrounded by mountains to protect it from the cold wind.

3. The northwest is 55km away from Lake Titicaca. It is 3577 meters above sea level. The population is about 1 million. Originally an Indian village. In 1548, the city was built because of the discovery of placer gold on the La Paz River. In 1827, to commemorate the Battle of Ayacucho, it was called La Paz Ayacucho.
