growing environment

Mango, native to northern India and Malay Peninsula, likes hot and dry weather. The optimum temperature for vegetative growth (roots, stems and leaves) is 24-30℃. When the temperature drops below 18℃, the growth is slow and stops below 10℃. In the reproductive growth period (flowers and fruits), high temperature is needed to drain well and contain water.

Mango is widely distributed. There are more than 70 countries producing mangoes in the world, 90% of which are concentrated in countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Malaysia. It is cultivated in eastern and western Africa, Tanzania and Zaire, Brazil and Mexico in America, Florida and Hawaii in the United States.
