The scenery of my hometown in xx and xx is beautiful all year round. I love my hometown.

The four seasons in my hometown are very charming.

In spring, the weather is getting warmer and warmer, and the warm sunshine shines on the earth. The winter jasmine blossoms, and the golden petals open their smiles, as if welcoming the arrival of spring. The willows sprouted green buds, the grass emerged from the water, the ice on the lake melted, and they put new green clothes on the earth.

The scenery in summer is more beautiful. There are dense layers of branches and leaves on the lush poplar trees, like rows of strong sentries standing guard. The South Lake is full of lotus flowers. Flowers and bones in bud are like a painter's pen dipped in pink paint. Open lotus flowers, some spread two or three petals, and some spread them all. The pink petals reveal a hint of yellow stamens and tender yellow lotus flowers. Lotus leaves like jade, with clear veins, float on the water like a big disk. A breeze blew across the lake, rippling like fish scales. Lotus leaves fluttered in the wind, like dancing girls.

Autumn has come and the weather is cool. Willow leaves turn from green to yellow, and the leaves fall down like butterflies flying in the air. Pines, cypresses and poplars stand neatly in rows of sturdy sentries in the autumn wind, still so green. Green grass turns from green to yellow, and withered grass is like a soft carpet in autumn.

Winter is a happy season, a season of ice and snow. Children frolic in winter. Some children have snowball fights, some make snowmen, and some go sledding. The snowman is very cute standing in the snow. They enjoy watching children play games. It snows heavily in winter and the world turns white. I like winter.

I like the four seasons in my hometown, and I love my hometown.
