Prose on Qionghai's trip to Sanya
Su Gong was banished to the end of the world, and when he died, he was free to cross the sea.
Since ancient times, it has been desolate, and when the clouds are long, the cage is light and the sand is light.
Speaking of poetry, I wrote this poem when I was in Sanya. Su Shi was demoted to Huangzhou Danzhou, that is, in Hainan Province. He made up his mind that "he is like a ship that is not tied" and spent his twilight years at the end of the Song Dynasty. He was pardoned and sent back. When crossing the Qiongzhou Strait, he wrote the famous "Crossing the Sea on the Night of June 20th" and finally died on the way to the north.
Hainan has been very remote since ancient times. Although it can't be said that it is uncivilized, it will never be called a place of prosperity and wealth. This can be seen from the story that Su Shi taught Jiang Tangzuo, the first person in Hainan. Thousands of years later, it has become a holiday resort in China, especially in the cold winter, and countless China families fly to Sanya. This city, known as the "Tianya Haijiao", has developed due to tourism, which is reflected in the average house price of more than 35,000 yuan. I'm afraid today's grand occasion is beyond Su Shi's imagination anyway.
What is even more unimaginable is the traffic efficiency today. It only takes 4 hours from Beijing to Hainan. In ancient times, the fatigue of traveling by boat turned into a half-day wait. This is really "being close to the sky". Those who keep saying that they like "it used to be slow", why don't they go to Sanya by carriage?
My girlfriend and I are going to leave after the New Year to avoid the crowds during the Spring Festival. I think it will be a sunny holiday trip. It was only a few days before departure that the weather in Qionghai was bad and caught up with the fog in Qiongzhou Strait. Many passengers were stranded in Hainan, and the ticket price rose to tens of thousands. Beautiful dreams are not empty, are they?
On the morning of 22nd, we arrived at Nanyuan Airport as scheduled. Because we live nearby, it will be very troublesome to go to the Capital Airport. The plane in Nanyuan is still relatively general. There is no catering, so you need to take a bus ferry. There was nothing on the plane, but when I opened the kindle, I found that this page of the book just turned to Harry's chapter. Who is Harry? There was a great official in the Ming Dynasty. Who is Harry? So are Hainan people. What a coincidence! Maybe this is the fate of my trip to Hainan!
After four hours of smooth flight, the plane flew over the foggy strait. The sky in qionghai city is gloomy and bumpy. Presumably the weather will not be too good these days. It also flew over the Longwan Spring River, detoured from the sea, landed at Boao Airport, and entered the port safely.
It was hot and humid air when I got off the plane, and I could hardly breathe with my down jacket on. The airport is surrounded by dense coconut trees and betel nut trees, and the tropical feeling is surrounded.
I thought I was on vacation, but I came to live! Buy rice, oil and salt one by one, take a bus to the central market to buy food and go home to cook, buy daily necessities at Baijiahui supermarket, occasionally buy two mangoes, or drink a coconut at a stall at home. From the beginning, it was a general cleaning, because I lived in my own house, not a hotel, and my food and clothing reserves were probably zero.
Coupled with the continuous rain, the room is even wetter, so I have to wear trousers and long sleeves. On the 24th, we took a taxi to Boao Town, which is also a gathering place for real estate. Many residential areas are built by the sea and gradually become popular. Although far from the center of qionghai city, there is no inconvenience in life. Last time I came, I went to Dongyu Island to soak in hot springs. This time I took a taxi and went directly to the seaside in Boao. This seaside town is a long chain of bars along the beach. Because it's daytime, most of them haven't opened the door yet, and it won't be lively until evening.
Fortunately, we're not here to drink, just to appreciate the customs of the sea. There are many people at the seaside, so it is naturally not as good as Sanya, with insufficient infrastructure and basically no management. At this moment, the dark clouds that have been gloomy for a long time gradually dispersed, and the sun shone down, which made people dizzy, the sea became bluer and the beach was bright and dazzling. This is the first time in two days that the sky is clear and blue.
On the way back to Qionghai, I sat on the rickety No.2 bus, and the country road turned seven and eight. On both sides are rice, coconut groves and immature betel nuts. Villages are two-story buildings, and occasionally a river passes under the bridge. This feeling is very different from that in the city, and it is very reassuring.
Life in Qionghai was a bit monotonous. Later, we arrived in Sanya by train around the island. An hour's drive, when I came out of Yalong Bay Station, the scorching sun was unbelievable. It seems that the climate has changed again in just one hour. Only in Sanya is the pure and charming tropical scenery.
The previous haze was swept away and replaced by hot summer days. The driver of the pick-up station told us that the climate difference in Hainan Island is also obvious, especially in Sanya and Haikou, which are completely different. He also recommended the boundary island, which is the most obvious climate boundary. There is not enough time this time, so I plan to go next time.
Go directly to the hotel in Haitang Bay. As a newly developed tourist area, Haitang Bay gives people the most direct impression that it is empty, with straight roads extending from north to south, with 30 1 hospital at the southernmost end and Sanya International Duty Free City at the northernmost end, with rows of hotels hidden behind the dense forest between them. I heard that this seven-star Atlantis hotel by the sea just opened during the Spring Festival, and I was also amazed at the price. This time we stayed at Doubletree by Hilton, which was very affordable in Haitang Bay.
Just entering the hotel gate, I saw a Ferrari 458 in front of me. It is exciting to meet a luxury car. In Sanya these days, the BMW 2 Series convertible is the most popular one. Driving a convertible here is really a pleasure. Because I came a little early, I can't check in until 2 pm. Maybe the room is tight during the Spring Festival and needs to be cleaned up. We decided to walk around the hotel to kill time.
Go down from the lobby, go straight inside, cross the tree-lined path, pass by several swimming pools, and feel the wind getting stronger and stronger, mixed with the smell of salty tide. Needless to say, it must be to the seaside. After walking for two minutes, we saw another blue sea. Because the waves in Haitang Bay were too big to go into the sea, we sat leisurely in the lounge chair set up in the hotel for a while.
The cookies sent by Yilin are really delicious. The room is not big, but there is a terrace, so I can finally bask in the clothes that I haven't basked in these days. What is even more surprising is that there is a swimming pool under the terrace, which is blue and green, making people feel the urge to jump down.
In order to save the trouble of taking a taxi, we rented a car and drove to Yalong Bay the next day, just to get close to the sea. Along the national highway, I passed many mango orchards, and farmers were picking and selling them by the roadside. In Yalong Bay, although there are not so many people cooking jiaozi during the Spring Festival holiday, there are still many people on the beach. There are few recliners on the beach. Most people on the beach are playing with children on the beach. In the distance, sailing boats, yachts and motorboats come and go, and the bustling sound is endless. It seems that it is right to choose to live in a remote Haitang Bay.
I soon got tired of staying in Yalong Bay. Because I drive by myself, it is more convenient to go anywhere. After lunch at KFC at noon, I began to study the next destination. From the map, Guanyin in Nanshan and Coconut Dream Corridor in Sanya Bay are far away from Haitang Bay, and the scenery there should be similar. Luhuitou Park can't go for long because of his girlfriend's leg injury. Underwater world, artificial attractions, nothing interesting, tickets are expensive.
Just when we were bored, we remembered that the driver at the pick-up station said that the seafood in this small fishing village was delicious. I searched on the map and found a restaurant called Fishing Village, which is on the dock to Wuzhizhou and close to Haitang Bay.
Not much to say, just drive away. From the national road to the county road and then to the country road, the closer to the town, the more difficult it is to walk, and there are grassy wasteland and some unfinished buildings next to it. I can't believe this is the way to Wuzhizhou. I arrived at the place in the blink of an eye, but I saw a traffic jam on the map. The red real-time road conditions made me think I was back in Beijing. In a rage, I bypassed the dock, changed my destination and went straight south. The pier in the picture is marked with the place to Wuzhizhou, and the following mark is the most beautiful place I have ever been to in Sanya.
On the map, I can see that there are several restaurants here and there is a road leading to here. There is really no one on this road. When I arrived, I found a dozen cars parked in the parking lot, and the restaurant was just below. Opposite this water area is a mining mine. We want to have a closer look and drive to the end of this road. At the end is the sea, from which several fishing boats keep sailing. It's not on the map. Take another sand road from the end of the road, and you can bypass the North Bay along the low dam.
Before getting off the bus, you can see the blue sea, which is very deep. There is a long dam on both sides, which is shallow sea and soft beach. The car can drive directly to the beach. It turns out that someone has already found it here, and several cars are parked neatly.
This is a short beach with no crowds. When you step on the beach barefoot, you will scream. So the sand here is so delicate! Stepping on it is like stepping on flour, and you can't feel the graininess brought by sand at all, just like putting your hand into soft candy, which is soft and light everywhere. Everyone says that the sand in Yalong Bay is good, which is more than twice as good as that in Yalong Bay. This is a small beach, and you can see the end. No wonder someone beat us to it. When we left, we specially found an empty bottle and filled it with sand as a souvenir.
There is shallow sea water in Long Beach, and the wind and waves are not big, which has been scouring this Long Beach. As a "wasteland" without commercial development, there is naturally a lack of protective nets and lifeguards here, but many people are walking by the sea, some of them are courageous and have to go far, and the sea has just passed their waist. It's already afternoon, the sun is setting and the temperature is getting colder. Otherwise, if you lay a blanket here and lie comfortably for half a day, you will definitely enjoy it. When you have enough rest, you can turn around and get back to the car.
Later, I went to the Shanghai levee. When the sun was shining directly, I could see groups of small fish swimming around in the sea. Someone is fishing on the levee in Shanghai, next to which is a small bucket containing three or five snakeheads and two small sea crabs. There is also an embroidered old fishing boat opposite the embankment, and the rust color is in sharp contrast with the seawater.
Time passed quickly. We went to a nearby restaurant to eat seafood. This small fishing village is actually a row of seafood restaurants. Interestingly, they are all connected with wooden boards and float on the sea. Every time a fishing boat leaves and enters the harbor, the water waves will make these boards creak. Seafood is alive, so it is preserved in seawater and surrounded by fishing nets. These should be fresher than those in the first market.
Maybe the travel notes should stop here. There is a saying that the sea is difficult for water. After visiting such a resort, the rest of the trip will be lackluster. Fortunately, the eight-day holiday is coming to an end, otherwise I really don't know where to find such a good place. This is my second visit to Hainan, and I will come here often in the future. Small places that seem unknown often have more surprises.
