The new function of Lumia640 in WP8. 1GDR2 system was officially launched.

Microsoft originally planned to push the GDR update twice for users of WP8. 1 last year, but in the end we only got the update of Windows Phone 8.1GDR 1, and the GDR1update was pushed until 20 15.

However, Microsoft has pre-installed the WP8. 1 GDR2 system for its two new machines, Lumia 640 and Lumia640XL, and the probability that most previous WindowsPhone devices get GDR2 updates is getting slim.

The Polish media WindowsMania.pl, which often gets first-hand information from Microsoft, exposed a screenshot of Lumia640 today, including the official introduction to the new features of Lumia640:

_ Settings has now been regrouped, and you can even search for individual settings.

_ Try to switch the calendar month view to show the number of weeks.

_ It's easier to exchange data traffic-add a fast switch in the operation center.

_Cortana supports new languages: French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Of course, we know that this leaflet does not mention all the functions of WP8. 1GDR2, such as the support for Bluetooth keyboard in the new version, which does not appear in the list.
