Lightning rods are generally made of round steel or steel pipes, and their diameter should not be less than the following values: independent lightning rods are generally made of galvanized round steel, with a diameter of19 mm. Support installation should be embedded with the structure construction as far as possible. According to the design requirements, elastic line and step-by-step positioning are carried out. Use a hammer. When chiseling holes, the size of the holes should be consistent inside and outside. First bury the supports at both ends of a straight line, and then pull the straight line with lead wire to bury other supports. Before burial and injection, the borehole should be wetted with water. If concrete bearings are used, they shall be arranged in stages. First draw a straight line between the brackets at both ends, and then level the other brackets with mortar. If the parapet is reserved with embedded iron pieces, the bracket can be directly welded on the important iron pieces, and the bracket straightening method is the same as before. Quality problems in manufacturing and installation of lightning rod: insufficient welding, unclean flux treatment, and leakage of antirust paint. Repair welding should be done in time, and the coating should be knocked off and coated with antirust paint. The needle body is bent, and the installation verticality exceeds the allowable deviation. The needle weight should be straightened again, and the protective distance between the independent lightning rod and its grounding device and the entrance and exit of roads or buildings does not meet the requirements. The distance should be greater than 3m. When it is less than 3m, pressure equalization measures should be taken or cobble or asphalt ground should be laid.
