What is the disaster situation of the water level surge in Lancang River in Yunnan?
On July 9, Lancang centralized control center issued a red warning of flood: on the morning of July 9 10, the flow of Quzika station was 5200 cubic meters per second, and it was still rising. At present, the rainfall from Quzika to Miao Wei is gradually increasing, and the flow of Wunonglong and Li Di sections will continue to increase. It is predicted that the peak flow will exceed the 10 once-in-a-year flood standard (50 10 m3/s) and approach the 20-year once-in-a-year flood standard (5900 m3/s). Affected by interval rainfall, it may exceed the 20-year flood standard.
The center reminded that relevant units should pay close attention to the weather forecast and actual rainfall, do a good job in patrol inspection and emergency treatment at the construction site, and ensure the normal operation of water diversion projects, flood control facilities and ditch drainage facilities to ensure flood control safety.
I hope that the affected people will be safe and the disaster will end at an early date.
