Tongyu County belongs to Jilin Province, south of Baicheng City and east of Horqin Grassland, and belongs to Baicheng City of Jilin Province. Its geographical coordinates are 122 02'~ 123 30' east and 44 13'~ 45 16' north. Tongyu County borders Gan 'an County in the east, Horqin Right Wing Banner in the west, Changling County in the south, Horqin Left Wing Banner in the southwest and taonan city in the north. The northeast borders on Da 'an City. It covers an area of 8476 square kilometers.
