What activities are there to increase rain and snow, eliminate rain, eliminate fog and prevent frost?

Activities such as increasing rain and snow, eliminating rain, eliminating fog, and preventing frost are all artificially influencing the weather.

Weather modification refers to the activities that artificially affect the physical and chemical processes of the local atmosphere through scientific and technological means under appropriate conditions, so as to avoid or mitigate meteorological disasters and achieve the purposes of increasing rain and snow, hail suppression, rain elimination, fog elimination and frost prevention.

History of weather modification:

Scientific weather modification was developed in a laboratory in new york in the late 1940s under the guidance of American Nobel Prize winner Langmuir.

1946, schaffer, an American scientist, carried out an actual catalytic experiment on stratocumulus clouds with dry ice, and found that supercooled water droplets in the clouds (the temperature is lower than 0℃, but they are liquid due to lack of condensate) quickly turned into groups of ice crystals, which grew and fell from the bottom of the clouds, leaving an obvious hole in the clouds. This successful experiment is a favorable impetus to weather modification.
