In order to thank Lingbi, the local people buried many Lingbi's bodies together and built a high mound called Lingtai. After the defeat, the black dragon was taken in by the Buddha in the Western Heaven, converted to Buddhism, turned over a new leaf and determined to benefit the people. One night, the dark clouds rolled, the wind blew and the rain poured down, and the black dragon danced over the platform. The next day, after the rain cleared, the surrounding villagers found that a magnificent temple with resplendent and magnificent halls miraculously appeared on the platform of golden pine and cypress.

Lingtai is the site of Longshan culture. Due to historical reasons, Lingtai Temple has suffered several disasters and been restored several times. According to Shi Dun, "This hall was rebuilt in the eleventh year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty." According to the original tablet, it was rebuilt in the 13th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty.
