Why is Beibei so hot?

Under the control of this high pressure, Beibei has always maintained a sunny and partly cloudy state, with less rainfall and rainy days since July. During the day, under the influence of solar radiation, the air near the ground heats up quickly and the wind speed is seriously low, which leads to a large accumulation of hot air and slow heat dissipation, so there is continuous high temperature weather.

Affected by the terrain. Beibei is located in the parallel valley area in the east of Sichuan Basin, with Huaying Mountain, Jinyun Mountain and Zhongliang Mountain within its jurisdiction, and Jialing River flows from northwest to southeast. Beibei city is surrounded by mountains, with basin and valley topography and rapid heat accumulation. In addition, the recent wind speed is small, the heat dissipation is slow, and the atmospheric environment is superimposed with the terrain in the region, resulting in high temperature.
