Where is Sichuan University (Wangjiang Campus)?

Sichuan University is a national key university. At present, Sichuan University has three campuses: Wangjiang, Huaxi and Jiang 'an. Wangjiang Campus is located next to Wangjiangta Park in the urban area. It is the old campus of Sichuan University and the most convenient campus. The administrative building and angel forest on campus are very famous in Chengdu.

The campus construction of Sichuan University has quite a style, and the three campuses are different. The administrative building of Wangjiang Campus was designed by the architect Mr. Liang Sicheng. It is listed as a national cultural relic protection building and has now become a landmark building of Sichuan University.

The predecessor of Huaxi Campus was Huaxi United University at the beginning of last century. The old buildings on campus are all blue bricks and black tiles with red colonnade in the middle. The bell tower on campus has a history of about 80 years, and it is the landmark building of Huaxi Dam.

Jiang 'an Campus concentrates all kinds of buildings on a circular road with a total length of 2.2 kilometers, and there is also the longest footbridge in domestic universities-Changqiao, but the campus is far from the urban area, so ordinary tourists don't have to go.

Yuzhang Road in Wangjiang Campus is a golden scene of ginkgo trees in late autumn in Chengdu every year. There is also a small forest near the School of Physics on campus-Angel Forest, where a large number of birds gather, many of which are rare in the wild. On sunny nights, there are always a group of enthusiasts waiting to shoot birds.

There are many restaurants, cafes and cinemas in Ke Hua North Road outside the west gate of the campus and Hongwasi Lane outside the north gate.

1. It is recommended to visit Wangjiang Campus and then go to Huaxi Campus. If there is not enough time, you can not go to Jiang' an campus.
