Bordering China. According to the Chinese government website, China's land border is about 20,000 kilometers long from the mouth of Yalu River on the border between China and North Korea to the mouth of Beilun River on the border between China and Vietnam. It borders the following countries: North Korea in the east, Russia in the northeast, Mongolia in the north, Russia and Kazakhstan in the northwest, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan in the west, India, Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan in the southwest, and Myanmar and Laos in the south.
