Emei Station is the main station on Chengdu-Kunming Railway, one of the main railway lines in southwest China. Visitors can take K 145, K 13, K 165 to Kunming or K 1 17 to Panzhihua and get off at Emei Railway Station. Emei Railway Station is about 10 km away from Emei Mountain Scenic Area, and the driving time is about 15 minutes. There are two bus stops in Emei Mountain: one is the Chengbei Passenger Transport Center in downtown Emei Mountain, which is about 6 kilometers away from Emei Mountain Scenic Area and takes about 10 minutes by car; The second is the tourist passenger transport center located in the scenic spot. So when you take the shuttle bus to Emei Mountain, be sure to ask which stop is the destination before getting on the bus, so as not to delay the trip.

If you take the shuttle bus to Chengbei Bus Terminal, get off and take a taxi to Guobao Temple around 20 yuan. You can also take a bus outside Chengbei Bus Terminal (the fare is 2 yuan), and the terminal is under the world famous mountain memorial arch of Guobao Temple.

High-speed self-driving

1, departing from Chengdu

Fastest: Chengdu-Leshan-Emei Pengqiao (full speed)-Emei Mountain Scenic Area (the whole journey is about 2 12km, and it takes 1.5h).

If you choose this route, you can go directly from Chengdu to Emei Mountain Scenic Area, and you don't need to shuttle in the downtown area of Emei Mountain. The whole expressway generally charges 52 yuan, as you know during the Spring Festival.

The most affordable: Chengdu-Leshan-Fuxi Town, Emei (full speed)-Emei Mountain City-Emei Mountain Scenic Area (the whole journey is about 220km and takes 2 hours).

If you choose this route, you can get off at Fuxi Town, Emei Mountain City, and reach Emei Mountain City through the express tourist channel. You can take the expressway around Emei Mountain to reach Emei Mountain Scenic Area, or you can go to Emei Mountain Scenic Area after tasting famous local snacks in Emei Mountain City. You'll know when the whole expressway generally charges 48 yuan and Spring Festival travel rush.

2. Starting from Chongqing
