How does the weather forecast divide China into Central China, South China and Huanghuai?
Huanghuai area refers to the south of the Yellow River and the north of the Huaihe River.
In physical geography, Central China refers to the Yangtze River basin in China, south of the Huaihe River in Qinling Mountains, north of Nanling Mountains and east of Wushan and Xuefeng Mountains. Including Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Shanghai and parts of Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces.
South China in a broad sense of physical geography refers to the area south of Nanling and east of Wuyishan in China, including Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, Taiwan Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Habit only refers to Guangdong Province, Hainan Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
