When is the best time to go to Jiang Xiaodong?

July to September is the best season to shoot the fog in Dongjiang every year. You'd better check the weather forecast for several days before you go. Generally, on sunny days, when there is no strong wind, there will be fog on the river.

Jiang Xiaodong River flows out from the bottom of Dongjiang Dam 100 meter deep. The water temperature is kept at 8- 10℃ all the year round, while the water temperature of the lake is around 20℃. Due to the influence of temperature difference and lush vegetation on both banks, the water on the Jiang Xiaodong River is foggy all year round.
