What are the features of Ya Dan landform in Hami Five Fort?

The southern foot of the East Tianshan Mountains is a famous Hami Basin with an area of over 30,000 square kilometers. Dozens of Ya Dan scenic spots are scattered along the old Kuluk-Gole River in the middle of Hami Basin, which is120km long and 30km wide. Among them, nine typical landscape communities in Ya Dan are concentrated more than 20 kilometers south of Wubao Township in Hami City, which is very rare at home and abroad. People call it "the ghost town of Hami Five Fort", and today it has become a landscape ecological park in Ya Dan. The ghost town of Wubao in Hami is the most concentrated community in Ya Dan. 

From Hami city, 36 kilometers west along the national highway, you enter the vast desert Gobi. On the Gobi desert filled with wind and sand, from the desert, more than ten kilometers of yellow sand fly to the sky, and the summer weather is transpiration, and mirage often appears from a distance. It is said that this section of the road is the best place to see a mirage. 

Just as the car was driving on the flat and boundless Gobi, a sunken ancient river bed suddenly appeared, which was once the largest river in Hami Basin-Kurukgole River. Along the ancient river, the wonders of Ya Dan appear in front of you, which is more and more like entering a canyon. When I came to Ya Dan Mountain, 23 kilometers away from Wubao Township, I reached the center of Ya Dan community. 

There is an old castle here, which people call "escher Castle", with an altitude of 350 meters. "Esquel", in Uygur language, means "dilapidated old city". The castle was built on the steep walls of Ya Dan. From a distance, it is impossible to distinguish between castle buildings and Ya Dan rock walls, and the two are confused. The upper and lower floors of the castle are adobe buildings, built on earth and stone more than 5 meters above the ground. There is an observation hole at the top, a tunnel at the bottom and a passage between the two castles. Although the castle has been baptized for thousands of years, it still stands in Ya Dan, which is an unsolved mystery. 

At present, four scenic tourist areas in Ya Dan, which are centered on eschar, have been opened in the southeast and northwest, and tourist hiking routes, adventure routes and automobile adventure routes have been planned, and dozens of Ya Dan landscape names have been named. In the scenic area of Ya Dan, the way of "Arab Stone Piles" was used to guide the way, so that tourists would not get lost when they entered the depths of Ya Dan community. The expression is: there is danger ahead, pay attention to safety. 

No matter the scenery, potential and scenery, the ghost town of Wubao in Hami is no less than other famous Ya Dan landform scenic spots. Ghost towns are rich in forms and diverse in shapes, which seems to take you into an ancient city. There are all kinds of Ya Dan remnant hills eroded by geomantic omen, lifelike animal forms and grotesque carved cliffs, just like pavilions. Strange and charming landscapes are often dazzling. 

In terms of season selection, autumn is the best season. During this period, Qiu Guang is sunny, the weather is stable, and the temperature is not too hot, which is more suitable for the requirements of photography. 

Try to use the low-angle light of sunrise and sunset during the illumination period, especially the first light of sunrise and the last light of sunset are more charming, which can often create unexpected strange light and different colors.

Ya Dan landform of Wubao Ghost Town starts from Camel Peak outside Yandun in the east, passes through Yamansu Iron Mine and Dananhu Coal Mine, and reaches Room 13 of Shaer Lake in Wubao, with a length of about 400 kilometers and a width of 5- 10 kilometers.

In a ghost town, you can see different landscapes, such as castles, temples, pagodas, portraits, animals and so on. Silicified wood and fresh plant fossils can be seen everywhere, and sometimes horrible screams can be heard when night falls.
