The weather is getting hotter and hotter. Are pigs prone to fever? How to prevent it?
It is an acute and fatal epidemic disease caused by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (commonly known as blue ear disease) virus variant.
(1) Pigs with clinical symptoms have depression, decreased food intake or no appetite, lethargy, and significantly increased body temperature, which can reach above 465438 0℃; Skin redness, conjunctivitis, eyelid edema; Respiratory symptoms such as cough and asthma; Some pigs have neurological symptoms such as hindlimb weakness, inability to stand or ataxia; The morbidity of piglets can reach 100%, the mortality can reach more than 50%, the abortion rate of sows can reach 30% ~ 100%, and the morbidity and mortality of adult pigs are about 20%.
(2) Autopsy symptoms showed infarct on the edge or surface of spleen; The kidney is yellowish brown, with a needle tip to millet-colored bleeding spot on the surface, and bleeding spots and spots can be seen under the skin, tonsils, heart, bladder, liver and intestine. A small amount of cellulose-like substances oozed from the liver surface of some sick pigs; The lung changes were rubber lung, mottled lung, acute lung lobe, heart lobe, middle lobe and septal lobe bleeding; Lymph nodes, especially superficial inguinal lymph nodes, are obviously enlarged, and the section is moist and everted; Some cases showed gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer and necrosis.
(3) Prevention and control measures
1. Add drugs to feed, and use compound anthocyanin 1000G+ tylosin 600G+ doxycycline 300g/t.
Prescription Description: The pure Chinese herbal compound extract of compound anthocyanin mainly contains chlorogenic acid, flavonoids, phytohemagglutinin, total saponins and other components. This product promotes the immune response mediated by T cells and the activity of NK cells, thus improving the immune function of the body to virus susceptible cells. Clinical trial observation: it has obvious regulatory effect on pig health, and can control virus replication and virus purification.
The compatibility of tylosin and doxycycline has a synergistic effect, which has a good preventive and therapeutic effect on secondary bacterial infection and rickettsia.
2. Treatment of pigs with persistent high fever: compound anthocyanin 1000g+ taurine 2000g+ aspirin 1000g/ 1000kg was soaked in clear water for 3-5 days. Try not to give pigs injections to prevent stress from causing heart failure.
3. Strengthen disinfection: disinfect with acid-containing disinfectants (such as peracetic acid) every day, stick to it for a period of time, and then change to other disinfectants for disinfection.
4. After the epidemic situation of pigs is stable, it is suggested that the whole pig herd be vaccinated with classical swine fever vaccine once. In order to avoid inoculation pressure, you can inoculate several times. (If five seedlings are inoculated, two seedlings should be inoculated first, and three seedlings should be inoculated after three days).
5. After the pig is stable, it is required to do a good job in drug health care, strengthen nutrition, disinfect frequently (once every 2-3 days), and do not vaccinate indiscriminately.
6. Select high-quality raw materials to prevent the use of moldy feed;
7. Strengthen daily management, especially cleaning and ventilation.
