Shangqiu, referred to as "Shang" or "Song", is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province. Located at the intersection of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, it is known as the "gateway to eastern Henan". Shangqiu has been a battleground for military strategists and merchants since ancient times.
