In Chinese meteorology, when the daily maximum temperature reaches or exceeds 35℃, it is generally called high temperature. Hot weather can make the human body feel uncomfortable, reduce work efficiency, and increase the incidence of heat stroke, intestinal diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, etc. At the same time, high temperature weather will also have a greater impact on agricultural production.

Prevent discomfort if the daily high temperature exceeds 32℃

Different countries have different definitions and standards for high temperature weather. The World Meteorological Organization's recommended standard for high temperature weather is that the daily maximum temperature is higher than 32°C and lasts for more than 3 days. China's standards for high-temperature weather are clearly stipulated in the "Management Measures for Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling Measures". The highest temperature on the same day reaches or exceeds 35°C and lasts for 3 days or more.

At the same time, high temperature warning signals are indicated in yellow, orange, and red respectively. A high temperature yellow warning indicates that the daily maximum temperature has been above 35℃ for three consecutive days; a high temperature orange warning indicates that the maximum temperature has risen above 37℃ within 24 hours; and a high temperature red warning has indicated that the maximum temperature has risen above 40℃ within 24 hours.
