Geography and climate of Scottish highlands
Northwest Scotland is a famous highland in Scotland, with magnificent natural scenery: landforms left over from the ice age, rugged mountains, exquisite lakes and Yuan Ye covered with boulders. The clear streams here provide important raw materials for the traditional specialty of the highlands: scotch whisky. There are not many towns in the southeast of highland, which is called highland tourism center. There are majestic mountains, beautiful valleys, quiet lakes, rushing streams and Yuan Ye with heather flowers. Although southern Scotland is mountainous, it is far less unruly than the highlands. The terrain here is similar to that in northern England, and it is a gentle and quiet area. There are grassy hillsides and spacious valleys surrounded by quiet streams.
Traditionally, the Scottish Highland refers to the northwest of the Dumbarton-Stonehaven Line, including parts of hebrides, Perth and Bittershire, but excluding the coastal lowlands of Orkney Islands, westland Islands, Nunn, Marion, Banff and most parts of East Aberdeen. There are great differences in language and tradition between highland and lowland. After Britannization, the lowland still retains Gaelic language and traditional customs. However, this difference was not noticed until the end of 14. Because Furness is generally considered as the capital of highland. However, the dividing line between highland and lowland is not clear.
Due to the small population, the Highlands of Scotland and several big islands are often divided together administratively. For example, in the Scottish Parliament election, they are regarded as the same constituency. However, this name covers different fields on different occasions.
About 40% of the highland areas are managed by the Highland Committee. The rest belong to Aberdeen, Angus, Argyle-Bite, Murray, Perth-Kinross and Stirling. Although Allen Island is administered by North Ayrshire, its northern part is regarded as part of the Scottish Highlands.
The administrative center of the whole highland area is located in Furness, so it is often called "Highland Capital".
The unique geographical location has created her unique environmental characteristics. The beauty of her wonderful performance is also attributed to her mountain of personality and wanton water. That mountain, neither high nor big, won by strangeness. There are ups and downs of mountains everywhere, perhaps it is the favor of the creator, perhaps it is the eccentricity of nature. The mountains here are somewhat strange. The appearance of the mountain is flat, mostly gentle and round curves, with little ups and downs, without any sharp or abrupt momentum.
Most of them are clumsy steamed buns, sitting in twos and threes on this lonely plateau. The vast wasteland under the mountain corner is littered with huge boulders and covered with black moss traces, showing polar landforms. The water in Scotland is so abundant that you are jealous and so clean that you want to cry. It is said that the world-famous scotch whisky also benefits from such a unique mineral water source. Accompanied by dark rocks and set off by lush trees, the quiet silence sets off the original style and presents a pure cuteness. Everything in the highlands of Scotland is so quiet. The changeable weather, whether sunny or cloudy, rainy or windy, changes as soon as it changes, just like a neurotic young woman, which makes you puzzled by her wonderful and impermanent changes. The sky is extremely low, and the mountains are covered with dark clouds in the distance. People are like being trapped in a huge eggshell, a little depressed and lonely. But if you want to visit the scenery here, it is so lonely and just right, and the beauty is beyond words.
