Participating in this test are the new products of Chuanqi SUV family in 2020: GS8S and GS4? PHEV、GS4？ Coupe. Where is GS4? PHEV was listed in China on April 18 at a price of 163800- 193800 yuan. Due to the coordination of vehicles, the model of the large army departing from Guangzhou is GS4? PHEV、GS4？ Coupe, some media flew from Guangzhou to Chengdu, then drove to Chongqing to meet the big troops and went to the northwest.

In the face of "special period" activities, I am a little confused and excited. I haven't been on a business trip for a long time, and I really want to go out. The most difficult period has passed, and the prevention and control efforts of government departments at all levels and the attitude of people's active cooperation in the next stage are irreversible.

When I arrived in Chengdu on the evening of the 8th, I felt 80% Sichuan flavor in the hotel. The next morning, I drove the GS8S to Chongqing to pick up the big troops. It seems that the pedestrian street in Jie Fangbei is more worthy of the team members' expectation.

GS8S, such a big car, how can it behave differently?

After a short rest, the weather in Chengdu was exceptionally good the next morning, and two GS8s were ready to go. The GS8S adopts the vertical air intake grille of "Shock Tianyi", which is different from the existing horizontal grille of GS8. The two products have different appearance styles, which are GS8, not "GS8".

A team of three of us drove to Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway. The wheelbase of GS8S is shorter, 80mm less than that of GS8, which means better dynamic car following, more flexible lane change and spacious rear legroom. Compared with the main seven-seat design of GS8, Zhixingjun thinks that GS8S can be positioned as a big five-seat sports SUV.

The third generation 2.0T? GDI engine has patented technology of GCCS combustion control. With the support of 350bar high pressure direct injection, double scroll turbine and electronically controlled exhaust bypass valve technology, it is well matched with the third generation Aisin 6-speed automatic manual transmission. It can generate 185Kw power, 390n·m, which is equivalent to "BBA" brand 2.0T high-power engine.

Aside from these data expressions, let's take a look at the specific performance of high speed. First of all, the steering wheel is very flexible in the low-speed area, and it is easy for one hand to circle in place. Such a big SUV, even a woman can easily control it. With the increase of vehicle speed, the steering force of the steering wheel is tightened and the positioning is more accurate. The technician said that if men don't feel comfortable enough, they can go to the 4S shop to adjust their steering force.

The large SUV is afraid to step on the accelerator, which feels like a "small horse-drawn cart", but the GS8S is very easy in the process of starting and accelerating, with a middle section of 80- 120 km, which is sensitive and powerful. It seems that the torque of 390n·m is real. With the increase of speed, the windward side of this "square head and square brain" design is so vertical. When deliberately accelerating, we should hear the "hysteria" of the engine, but we can't feel the obvious wind resistance and noise. The wind noise control of GS8S is in place.

Although the six-speed gearbox is not the mainstream, this Aisin product is really mature. There is no deliberate upshift in the initial stage of low speed and high torque, and there is no acceleration under the throttle to make the gearbox smooth. Some of them are on call.

GS8S adds a deep red color scheme, dark columns and ceilings to the all-black interior, which makes the drivers and passengers in the car feel a strong sense of movement and texture.

Is GS8S comfortable to drive at high speed? To sum up, the seat is wrapped in place, the head and legs have enough room to stretch, the suspension is moderate in hardness, and it has a "breathing feeling" (it is said that the chassis team chose the best one from the 100 scheme), and the wind noise control is excellent. How can you be tired when driving? Really comfortable! The design angle of the backrest of the second row of seats is 25, which can be adjusted backward by 8, so that the body can lie flat properly.

The GS8S has a super-large trunk space, with a maximum volume of 892L for five seats, which can reach 1774L in the second case. Figuratively speaking, you can put down three 28-inch suitcases and add three backpacks when you are five seats, without affecting the road conditions behind the mirror. Therefore, when families with two children become more and more common, the charm of large SUVs becomes more and more obvious.

The three-car fuel-saving race subverts the energy consumption performance of my Chuanqi SUV.

After leaving Chongqing, we drove 700 kilometers to Hanzhong, Shaanxi, which is located at the junction of Shaanxi, Sichuan and Hubei provinces. Our small team changed a GS4? PHEV, we stopped and walked for 700 kilometers, which is enough for you to feel all the features of the vehicle.

GS4？ PHEV builds the first plug-in hybrid SUV based on GPMA platform. The third generation 1.5T miller cycle all-aluminum engine, with thermal efficiency of 38.5%, ultra-high direct injection of 350bar, combustion control of GCCS and other technologies, has a power of 1 10kw. The other power components are GM-C electromechanical coupling system and IP67 battery, and the battery capacity can reach 65,437. In principle, as long as there is a fixed charging pile at home or work unit, the commuting distance is about 50 kilometers every day, and there is no need for one liter of oil a month.

Under the condition of single charge, the comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 1.3L, and the fuel consumption in HEV hybrid mode is 4.6L(NEDC condition B).

If there are too many parameters, Zhi Xingjun won't pile them here. Let's talk about the high-speed feeling first: the speed is fast, which is unexpected by everyone. 1.5T engine and motor cooperate. In the hybrid mode, driven by eCVT, the official data is 9.9 seconds to complete the 100-kilometer acceleration, but many experiencers think it seems to be 8 seconds. Is this an illusion?

The acceleration in the middle section is quiet and fast, and there is a strong feeling of pushing back above 100 km/h, which is the performance of 1.5T engine? Such a high speed, GS4? Why is PHEV still so quiet? It doesn't make sense The balance shaft and DMF were used in the original machine design, supplemented by passive noise reduction measures, which made GS4? On the whole, PHEV is indeed superior to products of the same level.

The first G-MC electromechanical coupling system has many driving modes, such as pure electric, extended range and hybrid power. The power of the driving motor is 130Kw, and the torque is 300n·m, which matches the fuel engine, indicating that the power output mentioned above is not bad, and the specific strength was shown in the fuel-saving race the next day.

Compact SUV? The PHEV version has given us a lot of "unexpected" things, so don't simply think that GS4? PHEV is an ordinary fuel version of battery motor with plug-in. TA may just borrow the shell of ordinary version and have an independent soul.

Hanzhong, a small town, is the same as most third-and fourth-tier cities in China-green mountains and green waters, fresh air, and occasionally stop to feel the vast territory of the motherland.

The next day, the organizer held an interesting competition: GS8S, GS4? PHEV、GS4？ Coupe will hold a fuel-saving race in groups, starting with filling the fixed oil gun at the fixed oil station, punching in Zhuge Ancient Town and returning, with a round trip of about 1 10 km. After careful but not harsh driving, because the distance of 1 10 km is basically two hours, the driving speed is about 50-60 km, which is basically consistent with the daily commuting speed.

In the final result, the lowest fuel consumption of GS8S is 4.4 1 liter/100 km, and the vehicle driven by Zhixingjun is 5.34 liter/100 km, which is somewhat unexpected for a large SUV with a capacity of 1.8 ton. The mailbox capacity of GS8S is 66L, and a tank of oil can run1236km, while 4.4 1L also proves the mature charm of this engine and Aisin six-speed gearbox from another angle.

GS4？ The fuel consumption of PHEV is 2.84L per 100 kilometers, and it is completely non-rechargeable. One tank of oil can run 1364 kilometers (the tank volume is 37 liters). GS4？ Coupe's best score of 100 kilometers is 3.85L, which is converted into a box of oil running 1429 kilometers.

Therefore, Zhi Xingjun believes that maintaining a good driving style can keep the vehicle in good condition, the parts wear slowly, the daily fuel consumption can be saved so much, and the speed is not much slower. How much money can be saved in one year (20,000 kilometers) and five years (654.38+ 10,000 kilometers)?

Come to Lanzhou instead of Lanzhou Lamian Noodles.

If Hanzhong is a city with a faint Sichuan flavor (Hanzhong was under the jurisdiction of Sichuan before the Qing Dynasty, and it loves spicy food, and Sichuan dialect is not very authentic), then after driving 500 kilometers to Lanzhou, you will feel the strong northwest flavor. Yellow hills, disappearing green trees, Lanzhou by the Yellow River, is a city on loess.

Lanzhou, you can't find the word "Lanzhou Lamian Noodles", just like you can't eat "Zhanjiang Chicken" in Zhanjiang. Zhi Xingjun doesn't like Lamian Noodles, and he doesn't like it very much. Why? Lanzhou Beef Lamian Noodles, where is the beef? Turn the edge over and find some thin pieces. How does this compare with the big beef noodles in Guangzhou, Sichuan? Besides, the noodles are a bit heavy. With the blending of noodles and soup, I felt that Lamian Noodles ate more and more after swelling, which caused a burden from my heart, and then my stomach was uncomfortable.

Zhixingjun didn't mean to belittle the food culture in this area. He just doesn't like eating Lamian Noodles, but he is interested in mutton which is also produced in the northwest. Moreover, most parts of the mainland did not have the ingredients and techniques to make such a taste, so he came to Lanzhou to eat sheep.

Did Ji Xingjun miss GS4? Coupe's driving experience? In fact, it was intentional, because this model is currently an engineering test vehicle, and we can only tell you that it is a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with a 7-speed wet DCT dual-clutch gearbox. Because the engineer has not adjusted the system, it is not a mass production version, so it is meaningless to explain it to consumers. This is more like an internal test. GS4？ Coupe has carried out a brand-new design in appearance, adopted the design concept of "cutting edge comes from me, dynamic breakthrough", retained the basic characteristics of the family, and innovated the headlights at the same time, which is more sincere than other joint ventures or even luxury brands. The shape of slip back and the newly designed taillights have high recognition, which is more in line with the aesthetic needs of young people and is a useful supplement to the SUV family system.
