Introduction to badminton

It's the same upstairs, but it's still the same (you can find this if you have any questions in the future)

Schematic diagram of badminton court

(The general width of the ball line is 0.04m)

1. In singles, when a player hits the ball in the opposite direction, the ball cannot fall outside the red zone, otherwise it is out of bounds.

2. In doubles, when a player hits the ball in the opposite direction, the ball cannot fall outside the blue area, otherwise it is out of bounds.

3. The crimson area indicates the single service area.

4. The dark blue area indicates the doubles service area.

See figure 1.

Simple rule

1. Competitive selection:

Before the game begins, both sides toss a coin to guess the winner, and the winner makes a choice according to the rules:

Choose to serve or accept.

Choose ending

The losing party can choose the remaining rights (for example, the winning party can choose to serve/receive the ball, and the losing party can choose the court).

2. Basic questions:

When the ball hits the net and lands on the opponent's court, you win;

If the ball falls on the net, out of bounds or in our own bounds, we lose; If the ball touches your clothes, you lose if you cross the net; If the ball doesn't cross the net, you hit the ball and you lose;

3. Services:

The service areas of singles and doubles are different (see the figure below). The ball is within the boundary when pressing the line. When serving, the player stands in the diagonal service court. Generally speaking, a player's first serve is in the right hand area. The server shall abide by the requirements when serving, and the receiver shall not hit the ball in advance (the server shall not move his feet before serving).

4. Scoring rules:

The competition adopts the best of three games system. A game uses the method of serving and scoring (the server scores, and the receiver does not score). After the recipient wins the case, the service right is transferred. In singles, the right to serve will be transferred to the opposing team (our team allows two goals) or our team serves two goals (our team allows one goal). Note: In doubles, the server is only started once per game.

15 points system (if you reach 15, you will win). However, if 14- 14 appears, those who arrive at 14 will arrive at 15/ 17 to win.

The women's competition is slightly different, and the scoring system is 1 1 (the first one who arrives at 1 1 wins). However, if there is 10- 10, the first person who arrives at 10 has the right to choose 1 1/65448.

Step 5: Finally. ...

Change venues after each game. In the deciding game (the third game), one side reached 8 points and changed sides (6 points for women). You can have a five-minute break before the deciding game.
